Dani's POV:

We had all been friends for years, longer than I could even remember. You know when you have those moments where you remember something occuring but you just can't remember how it occured? Well our situation was like that. Luke, Beau, Jai, and I were like siblings- actually, no, Beau, Jai and I were like siblings, Luke on the other hand, was the love of my life. Call me cheesy, but this is how life works in my eyes. You find someone who makes you feel the way Luke makes me feel, it has to be destiny.

"Dani? Babe where are you?" I heard Luke calling me, but I didn't want him to see me quite yet, "Uh, Luke um I'm coming give me a sec!" Tonight was Beau's birthday dinner, and also My two year anniversary with Luke; I'm that type of girl who has an unfortunate case of perfectionatism, so I have been up here getting ready for um.. three hours? "Baby I really am flattered that you're taking so long to look good for me," I didn't have to be next to him to see his smirk as he said that, "But we really have to go, we made the reservations at that shit restaraunt Beau likes for 7 PM." I shuffled around trying to gather my crap together without messing up my hair, because you know, it had to be perfect. "Alright, alright, I'm coming out! Can you just fuck off for three seconds please?" Okay, I'll admit it, I'm a bitch when I'm rushing or under pressure, but in my defense, who isn't? I literally tripped out my bedroom door and into Luke's arms, "hm.. fiesty and clumsy.. I like it." He teased me, but I definitely was not laughing. "You are such a condescending ass, you know that?" I laughed at him, but insead of answering he just leaned in and kissed me. We stayed there for a second until we heard Beau's obnoxious voice, "Can you two fuck tards hurry up please? I want to get there before they run out of that um.. beer I like.." Luke and I sighed in unison, "Bullshit." Luke huffed under his breath, "I know." I chuckled. We both knew that Beau only wanted to go to this joke of a restaraunt because he had a huge, obvious crush on this slutty waitress. We got into the car that both Beau and Jai were already in, and put seatbelts on. "So Beau, why is it that you like this restaraunt so much?" Luke asked his brother, "It's the boob- I mean the beer. I like um, really love that one beer," I almost choked at his lack of inteligence, "Beau, if you're gonna go with some retarded cover up, you might want to at least know the name of this "beer" that you love so much. Just quit it already," I laughed. Beau sighed loudly, and somewhat painfully, "Fine. Her name's Rachel, and I don't know what it is-" Jai interupted "uh you just said it was her boobs bro," Beau glared at Jai, "okay yes, she has nice tits but fuck, that's not even it. She's just.. so.. unreal..?" Beau sounded like an idiot, and I guess he realized that, "Okay stop giving me that look. For fucks sake it's my birthday can't you cunts have some respect?" We all started laughing but Beau just sat there in his seat, wide-eyed, probably thinking about this Rebecca girl. Or wait, was it Raquel? No, Rachel. "I'm sorry man, I think it's great you have a crush, but how do you expect for anything to happen if you don't talk to her? I'm shocked you even know her name." Luke spoke; Beau looked like he wanted to punch a hole through his head. "Has the thought that I want to ask her out tonight even crossed your mind in the slightest? Dumbass." Luke looked shocked, "woah, relax man, she's never gonna say yes to you with that attitude of yours." He said half heartedly. Beau remained silent until we arrived to the restaraunt. We all walked in and sure enough, there was a waitress waiting to show us to our table, and her name was Rachel. "Hi, are you guys the uh.. Brooks family?" Rachel asked us, Beau stepped up, "yes, that would be us, we're here, are we late? Oh god we're late aren't we? Ugh I told you pricks we had to leave earlie-" "Um wow, uh you're really fine, you're actually a.. minute early.." Rachel stuttered in shock. Jesus Christ, Beau is such a fucking idiot, he literally can't shut that giant ass mouth of his for two seconds. "Just follow me," Rachel laughed a bit and led us to our table, we all stared at Beau, who was currently scowlding himself for making such a shitty impression. I sighed, that boy needs help. We sat and Rachel walked away, "Alright assholes, from now on you don't talk to me before I plan on talking to Rachel. Understood?" I kind of wanted to slap him across the face but I voted against it taking the fact that it was his birthday into consideration. "Beau you sounded like a freak." I said. "Well shit Dani, you don't seem to have a filter tonight do you?" I guess he was right, I was usually nicer, even to him. " I guess not, sorry beau bear." I gave him a teasing smile. Rachel walked back over to our table ready to take orders. I wasn't going to lie, the girl was pretty- okay a bit more than pretty. She had tousled, brown hair that went half way down her chest, dark green eyes, and perfect cheekbones. Christ, I wonder what she was doing as a waitress, modeling could have been a given for her. "So have you guys decided what you want yet?" We all nodded our heads yes, "Yeah, I think we're good." Jai said smiling, "Um I'll start, and you don't mind if I order for my girlfriend right?" he continued. "No, of course not." Just as Jai was about to start, Erin rushed to our table, "Hey guys, sorry I was late, the little sister got kind of carried away with her blind makeover on me this morning, so.." Erin was Jai's girlfriend of five months, and she's became a good friend to me, considering the amount of time we spend together with the boys. We all ordered our food, and Rachel walked away. Damn, that girl was a fucking barbie doll. Thigh gap and everything. Oh well. Beau got up from the table, trying to secretly walk away, but I caught him. "Hey beau, where are you going?" I smirked at him. "Uh, to the bathroom is all. I'll be back." He was stupid to think we'd fall for that "bathroom" bullshit, he walked right towards Rachel.
