Lost & Found

Chapter 6

I walk to my doorstep opening and the door and stepping inside. I make my way down the hall and into my room closing my door behind me. Since the weekend was here I had nothing to do whatsoever. I did plan on inviting Leena over to go out with Zack or something but I don't know what to do. 

''Yoohoo'' I react to a knock on my door.

''Oh hey, how'd you get in?'' I asked Leena who was standing at my door frame.

''Your mom let me in'' She responded '' Anyways, let's go out'' 

''Where could we possibly go'' 

She looked around. ''To the pier, Zack's inviting us'' She wiggled her eyebrows.

I threw a pillow at her '' No need to look at me that way'' I laughed.

I can't believe Leena thinks I like Zack in a way. I mean he is a great guy and a great friend but I don't like him and if I did I couldn't. What she doesn't know is that I'm with Logan now and I may or may not be freaking out I would run into him at the Pier. I need some luck.

The more I think about him the more I freak out. I can't help it. I'm very much attracted to him, I mean he is gorgeous. His blue eyes and dirty blonde hair never fail to mesmerize me and... Oh no, I have to stop thinking about him. What is he doing to me?

Since we were going out to the Pier I needed to dress nicely. I'm not one to say I have good sense in fashion but I can't say that I'm horrible either. Today I felt like rocking a boho look. I slipped on into a beautiful Boho pattern Romper paired with a knitted cardigan and some gladiator sandals. Not my usual style but I think it looks pretty cute on me at times. As for my hair, I just took it down and messed up my waves a bit.  

''You look so cute , I totally love your shoes'' Leena squealed.

''is it much of a surprise that I can actually dress nicely ?'' I teased.

''Not at all'' I could hear her voice full of sarcasm. 

''Nice side of sarcasm, I see how it is'' 

We were now ready and dressed to leave. Although it was still a bit early, but I'm sure Zack will be here any minute. Going out was never my thing, but when it is with close friends I cant miss out. I never really enjoyed being in public by myself apart from walking.

As we were about to leave, I gathered my stuff and walked out the door right when I receive a text.

I stop looking down at my phone.'' Hey, what are you up to?'' From Logan.

''Hey, let's go. what's going on?'' Leena questioned.

''Oh it's nothing, just an email.'' I lied.

And out we go. 

I really dislike lying to my friends but I just had to. I felt like I couldn't say anything, and when I really wanted to I couldn't get myself to. I don't even know what I'm so afraid of, maybe because my friends dislike him so much. Or the school tends to know him as the 'player'. Either way really didn't stun me and it wasn't any of those reasons. Just the fact that him being the cutest guy dating me, sounds a bit off. I know, it's stupid that I'm thinking that but I just can't seem to get a conclusion on... Why?

''Earth to Alex'' Zack snaps me out.

''Huh?'' I respond confused

''Where'd ya go? France, Italy?'' He laughs clearly pointing out how zoned out I was.

''Neither, I can assure you that''

''Well, now that you're back from your little trip how about we all three get something to eat first?'' He offers.
