After a long day of work, every police officer and their velociraptor partners liked to spend time together. But none liked to do so more than Jeremy and his partner Sora. On one chilly night as the season was about to change to spring, all the officers from Primeval Isle's police department gathered around a blazing campfire in the forest to tell stories. The officers had brought out foldable chairs to sit in and made a large circle around the fire. They were even short a few chairs, so the remaining officers had to find stumps or rocks to sit on. Jeremy was one of the few who had to find a stump to sit on. His friend John was also sitting on a stump next to him.

The two humans were listening to the stories being told while their raptors were behind them frolicking and playing with each other. The two officers turned around when they heard one of them making noises. They saw Sora's small white body running away from John's partner Harry. Sora's blue patches and eyes seemed to gleam in the moonlight. His blue claws clacked against a tree as he made a sharp turn. Harry was running behind him on all four legs, panting.

The officers heard Harry growling in a way that seemed like he was complaining about something. In fact, the little black and white raptor was indeed complaining to his friend.

"Will you slow down? You know I'm not as fast as you, Sora." Harry whined.

"Would you like to play something else then?" Sora replied.

"How about a good head-bashing contest?" Harry suggested, still panting from the run.

"We're not pachycephalosaurs, Harry." Explained Sora. "Why would we need that skill?"

"Just in case we need to give a criminal a good head-butt." Harry insisted.

"If you say so..." Said Sora, who started backing up to a tree. Harry ran to a tree as well and turned around to face his opponent. The two officers had turned back around at this time to listen to more stories. The two raptors then raked their claws on the ground and snorted just like bulls in a ring.

"Are you ready?!" Harry said in a loud voice and stamped his right hand on the ground. Sora nodded and Harry shouted, "Go!" The two raptors ran on all four legs as fast as they could toward each other. Their heads collided and both of their visions went blurry. The dazed raptors staggered around for a few seconds before ultimately collapsing on the forest floor.

Some of the officers saw this, started laughing hysterically, and pointed behind John and Jeremy, who were oblivious to what had just happened. The two officers turned around to find their half-conscious raptors next to each other on the ground.

"Maybe this wasn't such a good idea..." Muttered Harry.

The two raptors slowly sat up and shook their heads. When their visions returned to normal, they laid down by their human partners. Sora rested his head on Jeremy's lap. The human stroked his little raptor's neck. They stared into each other's eyes, remembering when Sora first joined the police force.

The circle of officers started chanting for Stanley, the leader of the police force, to tell a story. Stanley was famous for telling old, folk stories.

"The story I'm going to tell you boys tonight is one of legend." Stanley started. "A long time ago, there was a kingdom by the sea that was ruled by a well-known and respected king. He was known throughout the land for his generosity toward others. The king was always accompanied by his dinosaur partner, Magnus. Now Magnus was a dinosaur of unknown species. He was the only one in existence at the time. Magnus had a large head and piercing green eyes. Naturally, the king's dinosaur looked very fierce with his sharp teeth and claws. This dinosaur was a biped with a large chest and muscular arms. His hands consisted of three clawed fingers and even two claws that grew from the back of his hand. Spikes ran down this beast's back and all the way down his powerful tail. His overall color was black and had sea green markings. The king went everywhere and did everything with Magnus."
