Lucy
"Yah, mum, why?" I whined. "You already know I hate him. Don't you hate him too?"
My mother blushed slightly at the last part. "Hmm... Well, you know how important this is to me. I've always wanted to teach at my own university, this is a once in a lifetime chance!"
I hesitated for a while. I mean, I did hate my dad for leaving my mum and me but I loved my mum way more than I hated him. "Aishhh, alright, alright, I'll go pack now" And with that, I ran off.
"Ne, you know, your appa still loves you. Very much" My mother told me while driving.
"Tsk. Yea right. That's why he left us." I hated him so much. One day, he just comes back with a fancy new job and all of a sudden, he hates the way we act. I mean, c'mon, we're still getting used to being rich! After that, he couldn't really agree with umma and they separated. I will never forgive him for that. Never.
She heaves a sigh before looking delighted again. "Umma... Do you still love him?"
She slightly blushed. "Hmm... Ooh, look, we're here!" She avoided my question and tooted the horn before a familiar man with a V neck top and jeans came out. I looked over at my mum who was wearing a plain white shirt. She almost wore sweats if I hadn't stopped her, I mean seriously, who wears sweats out? Especially in this weather. Aishhh.
"Hey Lucy" an all to familiar voice said. I didn't reply and snapped my gum.
"Lucy!" A stern, firm voice came from my mother.
"Ugh. Hi." I might as well get used to this then.
"I'll show you to your room?" He asked. Oh did I mention he was living in a mansion? While my mum and I were stuck in a flat?
"Oh, I think that's a grand idea!" My mum, of course, said. She stopped to check her watch. "And I think it's about time I should leave"
"Muuuuum" I whined.
"Be good, honey" she came over to give me a peck on the cheeks and a hug before driving of faster than ever.
"So, I'll show you to your b-" he was interrupted by a beeping sound. "Oh um, excuse me" he pulled out his S4. Woah. I pulled out my iPhone 4s which, by the way, took forever to save up for.
"Hello? Oh hey. Oh sure, why don't you come for dinner tonight. No, no, Chanyeol won't be a bother, in fact, I think there's a girl he should meet." He winked at me. "Sweet. Bye."
"Who was that?" I asked, trying to sound like I didn't care.
"Uh, you know... Just a co-worker" he rubbed his neck.
"Right. Co-workers go to each other's houses to have dinner" I mumbled quietly.
"She just lives right next door" I blushed at his comment because I was hoping he didn't hear. Oh well. "Anyways, I'll show you to your room" he led me to a room that was bigger than my kitchen and dining room combined.
"Uh... I'll let you know when dinner's ready" he said and quickly left. I started to unpack my things into the closet, but left one outfit for later. I quickly pulled my hair into a messy bun and took out my iPhone. I surfed through Facebook, luckily I got his wi-fi.
Diiinnnggggggg Dooonnggggg
Was that the doorbell? Gah, whatever. It's not like I care anyways. I quickly slipped on the outfit - a tank top and denim shorts, and I went on the balcony connected to my room. I breathed in and the smell of fresh flowers wafted through my nose, while the bright sunshine drifted in.
"Yah, Lucy!"
"Comingggg!" I raced out to meet two unfamiliar faces.
"This is Mrs Park" my dad pointed to a women around her 30s.
"Annyeong, Lucy-imnida" I bowed to her. "Nice to meet you, Mrs Park" she smiled warmly at me.
"Annyeong. And this is?..."
"Ah..." My father hesitated for a while. "She's my daughter" Mrs Park nodded and gave me another warm smile.
"And this is Chanyeol" he pointed to a guy with messy brown hair, who looked like the same age as me.
"A-annyeong, Chanyeol-ssi" why was I stuttering? Gah, what a great first impression- not.
"Nooooo, I want you to call me Oppa" he smirked. I almost fainted. That smirk gave me an electric shock.
"O-ok, Chanyeol-Oppa" I grinned at him.
"Ne, dinner's ready you two" Mrs Park hollered, carrying two plates of food.
"Ah, coming!" Chanyeol quickly held my hand and pulled me towards the table.
"Omo, this kimchi is so good!" I said. Mrs Park slightly blushed.
"Thank you"
"Ah, well, I'm finished, thank you for the great dinner" I bowed and made my way back to my bedroom. I strolled down the unfamiliar hallways. Snap, was I lost? I saw a familiar room and was suddenly relieved. I entered halfway and suddenly, a pair of hands covered my eyes and the door closed behind me.
"O-Oppa, stop playing around" I suddenly saw the bright light and was greeted by the familiar face again.
"That was playing around? Heh." He suddenly put his right arm to the side and pushed me to the wall.
"You know, they don't call me a bad boy for nothing" his lips suddenly brushed against mine and he stole a sudden kiss from me.
