[~•~Amu's view~•~]

I was sitting in the living room watching TV while eating a grilled cheese sandwich. I was making a horror film maraton on my own today.

"That is nooooot how you should celebrate you 18th b-day, girl!" Groaned Aja as she suddenly appeared next to me.

"Holy fuckinh cheesus Christ!" I yelled seeing her in her fell form next to me. It was her. I knew it. A perfect copy of myself, wearing deep black cloths. Just like her eyes. They were a complete deep black. It was creepy as fuck. That's why I freak out when I see her.

"Bloody hell...why can I see you!?" I asked freaking out "I took every tiny pill in this box to relax today and get rife of you today" I groaned.

"Those?" She asked as she raised an eyebrow "they won't work at all anymore" she laughed as she rested her head on my shoulder.

"What!?" I yelled shocked.

"Dear, it's time to tell you a fact" she sighed as she rested her hand on top of mine "with every year you age it'll get harder and harder for you to get ride of me. Since you're 18 now....we'll be together forever" she explained.

I froze as my soul slowly started to leave my body. It can't get worse now, can it?, I thought to myself. I could hear steps coming from upstairs. I looked over my shoulder seeing my father come downstairs. He was nicely dressed in a suit.

"Having a date, Tsumugu?" I asked. He looked at me shocked. We didn't really see each other often. Either he was at work or I was in my room.

"Uh...yeah" he responded as he tried to fix his tie. He was a very clumsy man. Since he took care of me he didn't have much to do with woman. Probably since I reminded him so much of my mother.

He started to date woman again as I turned 15. I was fine with it. We weren't a real family anyways. I stood up and fixed his tie for him. He was 37 years old, yet still so clumsy.

"Thanks" he muttered. Under his arm I noticed a small box. I looked it confused as he handed it to me. He never gave me a birthday present before.

"This....this isn't from me" he said "as I heard that your mother died I was asked if I wanted to take care of you or not. If not friends of your mother would have. You were so small and helpless I couldn't say no" he explained "as I agreed they gave me that. It's a birthday present for you from your mother" he said.

I looked at it wide eyed. It was the first time in 8 years that Tsumugu had mentioned my mother. And it was the first time in those years I've got something to be reminded of her. I pressed the box tightly against my chest as I muttered my thanks.

He smiled before handing me a tiny blue box. It was big enough for some jewlery in it.

"I know...it's weird. But I thought I should give you a present for your 18th birthday" he said with a slight smile "I...I hope you have fun today" he added before going outside of the house.

I went back to the couch and opened Tsumugus present first. It was a pair of red Rubin earrings. They had the form of Cherry blossoms. My mother's favorite flower. Red was my favorite color.

Aja watched me as I unpacked my presents. I never really got any since my mothers dead. So I was actually a bit excited.

I slowly unwrapped the present of my mother. My eyes went wide as I saw books. Diaries my mother wrote. There were four of them. All nummerated.

"Wow...that's..." Even Aja couldn't find words to describe it. It was the greatest by mother could do.

I opened the first diary genlte. They were so precious for me now. The last words my mother had for me. And it were do much. Even if it wondered me why she wrote them. I was to happy to care.
