Annabeth's POV

It was pouring. The storm was so huge even the magic boundaries couldn't keep it out. Since activities coudn't be done in the rain, everyone was sentenced to their cabins for the day.

I flopped over on my bed and looked out of the window. I looked harder because I thought I had just seen someone out there! It coudn't be a monster, the boundaries would've kept it out! Then I realised who it was, it was Percy.

He was wandering around camp completly dry, well of course he'd be dry I thought to myself. He's the flippin' son of Poseidon! He and I have had a not-so-secret crush on each other for over five years!

"Hey Annabeth," my half-sister lilly asked me "can I borrow your architecture book?" "What, oh yeah sure, take it"I answered. "What are you looking at?" she asked, leaning over and peering out the window aswell. "Nothing" I answered, hoping that I didn't sound like a guiltly lier. "Oh I see" lilly said, smirking at me. I shot her a death glare. "Why, what was Annabeth looking at?" questioned Olivia, another one of my half-sisters. "Percy Jackson of course," answered lilly, still smirking, "walking around outside in the rain." Olivia laughed, "Naturally, when bored, stare at crush." "He is not my crush!" I stated, "we're just friends, jeez!". "Oh, come on Annabeth tell the truth, we won't laugh, we're just bored and want something to talk about."Hang on, truth, that's it! "Thank you so much! I owe you one lilly!" I said, leaping out of my bed and running towards the door. "Hey Malcom, can I borrow your umbrella?" and without waiting for an answer, I grabbed it, opened the door and ran towards Percy.
