I hate my life. Okay I don't hate my life, but I do hate change. I've never been comfortable with it, I like traditions, I like things set in stone.

"Mia please start packing the boxes in the trunk, we got to go" my mom yelled from the kitchen

"I'm coming mother dearest" I yelled back, I picked up the box took one last glance at my bedroom and ran down the stairs

My parents were waiting at the end of the steps with my brother Mike "I thought you would be happier about moving back hon" my father said

"I'm happy dad, it's just a lot has changed since we left, Landon tells me a lot has happen, it just feels weird" I shrugged

My dad took the box, and pinched my cheeks "You'll be fine Mia, you're tough"

I smiled "I know Dad"

My dad and Mike quickly took the rest of the boxes and started packing them away, my mother and I were on the sidewalk staring at the house we lived in for four years

"Have you talked to Jake and Chrissy?" my mom asked

This was a sensitive topic for me. I shook my head "No, just Landon you know that mom"

She sighed "I know, I'm sorry honey, but you know they're still your friends, things have changed but you guys have always been close, everything will fall into place"

I highly doubt it. "Yeah I know, I'm tough Mom" I lowered my voice in an attempt to sound like my dad.

It's a motto my dad has implanted in my head since I was young, "You're tough Mia, you'll be fine". Nothing hurts Mia Acosta, I'm the rock in the family. I guess that's why it's so hard for me to show any of my feelings, It's not like I don't have feelings. I get sad, happy, and mad like everyone else I just have a better way of keeping it hidden, it's made me a little bit of a cold bitch, so I've been told, but I don't really care. It's kept me from looking like a weak little girl.

My mom,dad and Mike quickly got into the car, I turned to look at our house for the last time

"Come on Mia, hurry your ass up!" my brother yelled

"I'm coming Michelle" I yelled using the nickname I've given my brother to piss him off

"Bitch" my brother muttered as I got in the backseat

My mom quickly turned from the passenger seat "Watch your mouth Michael"she glared at him

I snickered, earning a glare as well "Alright, Rose that's enough, its going be a few hours till we're home" my dad said

I looked out my window "Home" I mumbled. I thought I would be happier, but I've never been more scared. This should be interesting.
