I stood outside of the new house, it looked cozy. Though my heart kept telling me this would only be a visit, then we would go home to our old town, to our old house.

But sadly that wasn't the case, we had moved here after months of planning. Here, to a town near the woods. Just like a creepy horror film, or scary story told at a campfire.

"Get your head out of the gutter 'hun!" I heard my mom yell. I scuffed the cold slush of snow under my feet. As I began walking I could see the wet grass spill from the snow.

Once inside, my mind only told me one thing, 'Murder House'. Like the American Horror Story season I'd just watched a while back.

"Mom, tell me if you see a hot girl named Violet." I mused, my mother glaring at me as she placed a box near the stairs.

"Please take this experience seriously, I'm begging you!" "This is hard for both of us." she heaved, her brown hair frizzing a bit.

"I didn't even mention that." I said coldly. I grabbed my bag and ran upstairs, I picked the best room I could find. It was rounded and had one big window. That looked out onto the slushed out street.

"Well guess this would be a great time for a ghost to come hangout!" but then of course no reply. I knew that would happen, so with that I put on my headphones and went to another world.
