Knocking on the Mind

We both stood up from our seats and walked towards the stage. I saw Syo give me a big thumbs up and Ren just smiled at me flirtatiously but it meant no harm. Once we were walking people started to whisper around. I left Sasha on my seat since I can't bring him up here.

"Hey it's that girl."
"Yeah they said that she couldn't even play the piano."
"How did she become a composer with no knowledge of the piano?"
"She probably bribed the school."

They kept talking but I payed them no mind. My mind was set on playing at my best.

"Students please keep quiet! If you don't you fail!" Mr.Hyuga threatend the students.

Everyone was quiet immidiately.

"Waa Mr.Hyuga has authority huh." I said quietly.

"Are you okay?" Masato asked me.

"Yep! They don't bother me at all." I meant that.

"Good. Let's both do our best."

"Yes!" I took my seat in front of many people.

A staff member brought out a extra microphone to my side. I adjusted it to match my height.

"Is she singing as well?"
"Nah! That must be a fraud."
"Yeah! She can't even play the piano."

The students snickered at me. I got both of my hands and slapped both of my cheeks which surprised everyone even Masato. The sound was loud thanks to the microphone.

"Ok. I'm ready Masato." I looked at him reassuringly to silently tell him I was okay.

"Let's start." He announced in the microphone.

"Knocking on the mind." I whispered on to the micriphone.

"Wipe your tears." It will start moving someday

All of the lights went off. The electricity was all off. Everyone panicked, thankfuly the piano was not powered by electricity. Masato understood me since I didn't stop playing the piano. We didn't stop for even a moment.

"Why is it so?" Whenever I catch a sight of you
The shimmering air from my past gently disappears into the sky

Since the microphone was not working we sang a little louder and the sound echoed through the whole auditorium.

The whole world is changing

We finished our song all of the light turned back on immidiately. Both of us were panting from using our voices. I looked up and saw someone on the second floor. Was that...the principal? I payed it no mind. I looked at Masato and gave him a big smile. We did it!

I saw Ren, Syo, Natsuki, Nanami, and Otoya stand and gave us a round of applause. It felt good to play the piano like that and to sing my heart out. I felt alive.

Everyond followed suit and stood and clap even the ones who were whispering awhile ago.

Once Masato and I stepped of the stage. I hugged him. He seemed surprise at first but he hugged me back.

"You did great." I told Masato.

"No...You were the most amazing." He said to me.

We entangled ourselved and gave each other big grins. Now at least everyone will stop spreading rumors. As we went back to our seat, a girl who sat infront of my seat put out her foot and tripped me. I knew she was a fan of Ren.

She silently laughed too early as Otoya and Masato caught me.

"Ah! Thank you both of you." I said.

"You okay? You didn't get hurt right?" Otoya was concerned. My dear brother such a worrier.

"Are you right?" Masato asked.

"Im fine, I'm fine." I said to both of them.

I glanced at the girl and she was angry. Masato and Otoya gave her a harsh glare and she looked away.

"Don't be mean to her." I quietly told them.

"Is everything alright here?" Ms.Ringo appeared before us.

"Yes, she just accidentally trip." Masato said. There was a heavy indent on 'accidentally'

"Well go back to your seats. Nanami and Otoya your turn." Ms.Ringo went back infront. I took my seat feeling all fluffy inside. I didn't notice that something was missing.

"I guess she can play after all."
"They were not half bad."

The students whispered to one another. Now I just hoped that they would stop bothering me. Nanami played the piano and Otoya sang. They were amazing. I stood up and clapped immidiately once they finished. I saw Natsuki perform and he was so cute on stage. Few hours passed from then.

Now that everyone was done we headed to lunch. I invited Masato and Ren to eat with us. So all of us on the table were a lot. Nanami, Masato, Ren, Natsuki, Syo, Otoya and I. I sat between Nanami and Otoya.

"You were amazing there lady." Ren winked at me.

"You really were amazing!" Otoya hugged me.

"You were really beautiful on stage Angel~~!" Natsuki complemented.

"Thank you everyone but it was really Masato who carried the song." I blushed.

"Don't say that. You were amazing." Masato said.

I looked down feeling a bit guilty for my judging thoughts about earlier.

"Um...I have something to confess to you all." I said.
