School just couldn't go by fast enough, I don't know if I'm dreading or looking forward to this weekend. On one hand I get to see my favorite cousin and uncle, but then again I don't know how awkward it will be between Jeremy and I. I'm also really worried because if either of them gets even a hint that I somewhat like him, he will be interrogated the entire weekend. Oh, and did I mention that tomorrow night we're having Thanksgiving? I didn't think so, but we always have our family Thanksgiving on the first Saturday of hunting season because everyone's already together.
Jeremy brought me to school this morning so I could leave my stuff in the Impala. There was an awkward vibe in the car, I kept getting the feeling that he wanted to say something but he didn't. All of my classes seemed to drag by except for the ones that either I saw him in the hall or he was in the same class. I keep telling myself that I don't like him, but he's always on my mind. I can't help but feel crushed every time I see him, because he still thinks that he did something wrong and I can't convince him otherwise.
When school ends I already have my stuff packed from my Language Arts class, and I shoot out of the classroom like a bullet. Me being my clumsy self nearly fall getting out the door and what I see surprises me. Jeremy's already waiting for me, I mean he is in the classroom right next door but how did he get over here so quickly. "I just need to drop my stuff in my locker, then I'll be ready to head out." I nod my head and we go to Jeremy's locker. It's a quiet walk filled with pushing and shoving against the current of students in the hallway. Now I know why we never stop at his locker.
He puts everything in his locker except for a book and getting a better look at it I can tell it's one of my series 'The Chronicles of Nick'. "You ready," he asks as he notices I'm staring at his book he turns it so the back is facing me to where I'm able to read it. "It's okay I've read it before." Jeremy stares at me in shock. I clear my throat and say, "Can we go now? I have a lot of stuff left to do and not very long to do it." As if coming out of his trance he nods and turns into the direction of the door.

The ride wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Jeremy turned on the radio to the country station me and my dad normally listen to, and he sang along. He has an amazing voice and I got up the courage to ask a favor, "Would you in any case be willing to sing on the worship team for church? The only guy we have singing is Bradley, it's not like we don't have other guys on it but Nathan plays the bass guitar and Ayden plays the drums."
"Sure," he says.
"Wait really," I ask getting excited turning towards him.
"Yes, I'll do it," he replies turning to face me bouncing in my seat with a heart eating grin on his face.
"Thank you so much," I squeal and lean towards him and wrap my arms around his neck for a quick hug when I feel him stiffen and gasp. "Sorry," I say sheepishly going back to my own seat.
"Will you do me a favor then?"
"Sure," I say feeling a little worried.
"Don't ever apologize to me again," he grinds out.
"Okay," I say as I feel my heart swell.

We got to the farm in silence after our conversation, we pull into the driveway and I tell him to park in the car port and we can move it to one of the buildings later. "So what's first," he asks me.
"I need to set up the movie night in the common room upstairs."
"What can I do?"
"You don't need to do anything if you don't want to," I say because it's true I don't want to force him to do anything.
