Katie's pov
I ran out of that house so fast I almost fell down the driveway . I ran all the way to the end of the road and I stopped . I sat down at the curb and started to think .
I can't do this , I'm lost in my mind , I don't have anyone now , I'm not even going to school anymore
A car pulled up , It was Marshall and dre . I jumped up and ran to the drivers side and opened the door and got in Marshall's lap and hugged him so tight he was choking .
" calm down " Marshall said
" I'm so happy your home " I said letting go of him .
" me to , what are you doing out here , it's cold " Marshall asked
" haillie " I said
" what " Marshall said
" she was wondering where I was and where you were " I said
" did you tell her " Marshall asked
" no , that's why I ran out of the house " I said
" get in " Marshall said
I got in the car , Marshall pulled into the drive way . I got out and ran inside . Marshall and dre followed me .
" I'm home " Marshall yelled
Haillie and Alania , Whitney ran out of no where and hugged him .
I went upstairs to my room . I was half way up the stairs until Marshall called me down stairs .
" what " I said
" hang out with us " Marshall said
" why " I said
" why not " Marshall said
" it never stopped you before " I said walking up stairs .
My phone vibrated , it was Michael
" Hey you coming to the party tonight ? " ( Michael's text )
I totally forgot about the party tonight, it's Sam's birthday. How am I gonna go , I got to sneak out .
I changed my clothes and grabbed my phone . Then haillie walked into my room without knocking .
" can I help you " I asked
" what are you doing " haillie asked me
" leaving " I said
" where are you going " haillie asked
" a party I was invited to " I said crawling out the window
" your gonna get in trouble " haillie said
" not if you watch my back and I won't tell your secret " I said
" fine " haillie said walking out of my room closing the door .
I walked all the way to Sam's house . I got to the party , there was a lot of people there . I found Sam finally , she was in the garage.
" happy birthday " I said handing Sam a bag
" Thanks " Sam said
" open your present now , cause I think it's more than your house " I said with a smirk
Sam opened her present . I got her shoes , but I got them designed for her , her name on the side .
" Omg thank you " Sam said hugging me
" Yup , I have a pair myself " I said
We went inside to Sam's room . And just hung out . Haillie texted me .
"Dad is looking for you " hallie said
" did you tell him where I was " I asked
" no he is still in the house " haillie said
" Ok don't worry , I got this " I said
I put my phone down . And grabbed my jacket .,
" sorry I can't stay but happy birthday " I said to Sam
" we didn't even have cake yet , what's the rush " Sam asked
I gave her the look , the one I can't say about my dad . She just looked at me like oh .
" Ok I'll see you at school then " Sam said
I left Sam's and ran all the way home . Michael apparently followed me .
" Hey why did you leave " Michael asked me ?
" I snuck out I need to get home " I said with a rush
" Oh , anything I can do to help " Michael asked
" Yeah , leave " I said with an attitude
" fine " Michael said walking away
I rushed back home and crawled back into my room window and layed in bed . Haillie walked in my room .
" your just on time , he was gonna call the cops " haillie said
" Thanks hay " I said
" no problem , can I ask you something ? " haillie asked
" Yeah what is it " I asked
" how do u know my secret ? " haillie asked .........
