Charlotte's POV
At noon, I was still cleaning myself up to look at least presentable for our adopter. I didn't expect to be the one they wanted. Like I said; Myka and Elaina were the favorites. They're young and cute and still have awhile to grow up being only 9. With me being almost 15, I was done growning up in their eyes. "Alright girls!" I heard Mrs. Lane say, "I need girls ages 10 to 15 in the cafeteria. All you others can go play." My eyes widened. I might have a chance. I finished brushing out my hair, redid the ponytail and walked out to the cafeteria. When I got there, there were only three girls left. I sat down at the end of the line and watched each girl get up and leave.
Nate's POV
I was ready to do this. Mrs. Lane, the lady in charge, said I only had six girls to interview in my desired age range. Each girl told me their intrests and how long they had been there. When I realized none of them interested me, I was starting to worry I had picked the wrong age group. Finally, the last girl came in. She had red hair, blue eyes and was wearing a Panic! At The Disco shirt. "Hi sweetheart. I said, holding out my hand. She shook it with a firm grip. "Hi. I'm Charlotte." She had a slight British accent to her voice. "Nate." I saw her smile as she sat down. "So Charlotte, what should I know about you." I asked her. "Well, my full name is Charlotte Louise Fuller, I'm 14 going on 15. I love dogs, reading, and music. I really want to be a musical artist when I grow up." I saw her eyes light up when she mentioned her love of music. Just my kind of girl. "How would you like to become Charlotte Louise Sharp?" Her eyes lit up even more and she started nodding her head. She made me laugh. "Let's go tell Mrs. Lane."
