I sat at the table silently eating my lunch while everyone else talked and talked and talked about random stupid stuff. Me on the other hand sat at the end of the table wishing that this day would be over.
River,the cat I had met the other day, came and sat next to me, I ignored that she was there. "Do you have anyone to hang out with recess?" River suddenly asked I slightly looked over at her "No." I said remembering that Dakota and I only talked at recess "You can hangout with me!" River said happily "Ok!" I smiled slightly maybe we'll be friends! Then I won't be lonely anymore! I thought happily.
I looked around not sure where River was I don't even remember her name. I thought then my thoughts went even deeper, thinking about how I almost had a friend but, deep inside I knew I ran away,I was shy,I was scared to go up and say hello.
