It was all a mistake a Jc Caylen Fanfiction

"Ella wake up! It's your 18th birthday honey!"

I groaned. I opened my eyes to see my room covered in many different posters of Indie bands, with plain white walls behind it And my mom standing there with a cake and a big box on the floor next to her feet.

"Mom I told you I didn't want anything for my birthday."

"No your finally 18!"She said a little to excited for my birthday.

"I know, but you know how I feel about you spending money on me."

I hate when she spends money on me. She is a single mother of two who works 50 hours a week trying to pay for this house. She is always stressed and frustrated with her income and her buying me stuff I don't need doesn't help.

"Just open the gift Ella!"

My 4 year old sister Sam yells.

"Okay,okay!"

I grab the box witch was in my sisters hands,trying to pick it up. I giggle slightly at her struggle. I lift the box up and it was surprisingly really light. I open the flaps and reach in. There were two boxes and a bunch out paper. I grab one box,tear the tape off and put it back in the bigger box. When I opened it and saw what was in it my eyes started to water.

"Mom. How m-much did this c-cost?" I stuttered.

"It doesn't matter cause I'm not returning it." She smiled.

I looked down at the camera that was in my hands. I was in shock. I've wanted a camera since I was 5 years old. I looked in the box witch had carried both of the boxes in it. I grabbed the other box. it was a lot more thin than the other box. I opened it up to see a little piece of printed paper. I opened the piece of paper and began to read it.

It was a plane ticket to Washington state. The one place in the world where I see my self living. I spring up out of bed to find my self clinging to my mom like a koala. Laughing like a idiot I picked the paper up searching for the date I the flight. 9/05/13. I flung across my bed desperately searching for my phone I unlocked it looking directly at the date September 4th. Duh it's your birthday. My subconscious reminded me.

Than I realized I'm going to Washington tomorrow.
