The cry's and screams of the injured. The smell of blood that taints the hallways. Everyone running around like its life or death. That how an emergency room is after a huge pile up on a high way. People were being brought in by ambulances and life plighted in with the helicopter. Ever doctor and nurse was called in. County general needed all their best. Lucky for them Doctor Jay Price was already making way into the hospital.
"Code blue we have a code blue in room 3." the loud speaker announced. It can be a scary thing hearing that overhead speaker make an announcement like that. You never know if it the person you came to visit or if its someone else.
Doctor price was rushing down the hall towards room 3. Throwing off the helmet and the biker jacket while making way down the hall. Nurse Galloway ran after the doctor collecting what was being thrown and handed over a lab coat.
"What exactly is going on?" Doctor Price asked the nurse.
"We had a massive pile up on the high way. We are the go to hospital right now. Most of the injuries are mild and they are being quickly assessed and treated. There are a few serious injuries however. And a code blue in room 3. And someone is asking for you." Not bothering to pause for even a moment doctor Price instantly responded.
"I'm going into room 3. Get doctor young to treat the more serious cases. Have doctor brown sign off on those with minor injuries and let them go home. As for the man looking for me, tell him I died." And just like that doctor price left nurse Galloway in the hall and shut the door to exam room 3.
Jaylynn Price made one of the best doctors the east coast has ever seen. She was amazing at what she did and she worked hard night and day.
Walking out of examine room three Jaylynn whipped sweat off her forehead. A frazzled looking women was being argumentative with nurse Galloway. She huffed out a breath and thought to herself doctor jay to save the day. She giggle silently as she walked towards the pair of people in the waiting room.
"Excuse me? Maybe I can help? What exactly is going on?" Jay spoke sweetly to try to calm the fight down. She could already tell this was going to be a interesting argument.
"I was just telling Mrs. McCormick here that the doctor was taking excellent care of her son who was in examine room three." Jay knew the issue with this woman was that she was a control freak. Lucky for Jay she had been the doctor who treated her son.
"Well Mam let me be the one to assure you tha"
"And just who the hell do you think you are? I don't know this woman and I don't want her anywhere near my son. She's just a little hussy." The woman sure could spit fire. And if looks could kill.
"Mrs. McCormick. Let me introduce Doc"
"I said I don't want her anywhere near my son! Now I demand you kick her out right now before I call security. My son wouldn't go for your type anyways." Jay was just past her limit of stupid people for the day and her shift had just begun.
"Nurse Galloway, would you please see to it Mrs. McCormick is escorted to see her son. He is still in examine room three but will be moved shortly to floor 2 room 205. He is being admitted but he is doing well and will recover from his injury." Jay started to walk away what Mrs McCormick raised her voice to her.
"And just who the hell do you think you are? How would you know how my son Is doing?"
"Like I tried to tell you before. This is doctor Jaylynn Price. She is the women who just operated on your son." Nurse Galloway loved to throw it in people's faces that jay was the doctor. She looked like she would be a hit woman over a doctor.
Jaylynn was decent height. Approximately five foot six inches tall. She had long black hair that she usually kept down unless she was working then she simply threw it in a pony tall. Jay had tattoos and piercing. She also was a biker and liked to dree the part. Almost always in leather out fits. Or jeans and tee shirts. She was a tomboy to say the least. People were always taken aback when they found out this young twenty two year old biker chick was there doctor.
