What was it about Andy that intrigued her? She has had this somewhat major crush on him for how long? She has just returned back from Australia, from the student exchange program. She couldn’t help but feel thrilled to be back. She had enjoyed her time there and she kind of missed the Aussie air, but home is just home.

The minute she reached her house, she was surprised it was so quite. Her parents should be home shouldn’t they? Softly the wind blew her long red-brown hair back and she wondered why the place was so eerily silent.

Lexie slowly walked up the pavement. Dragging her suitcase with her, it was like a horror movie, she could hear the silent evil theme music and she couldn’t help but expect some Andy vampire will suddenly appear and she will be all Bella like and what not.

She waited for a while. Should she just go off again and see Andy? After all she missed his sister Katy. No, she needed to get home, her hand hovered over the doorknob, and this was how it all started didn’t it? Slowly she opened the door. And her breath caught. Was that a face peaking in the window?

Her hand withdrew from the doorknob, was there some psychometric killer loose in her house? Then she heard a door slam and someone run up from behind her. Lexie screamed.

A cold hand covered her mouth and Lexie struggled, she was taller, she stopped when she heard the girl laugh “God, Lexie I missed you!” Lexie turned around and bear hugged Lyn, Lyn was shorter than her by a head, she had lovely blond hair which Lexie envied. Her eyes were a lovely hazel. “I can’t believe your back!” She said, laughing.

“I missed you to Lyn,” Lexie said.

“So bring any Aussie guys back for me?” Lyn said. Lexie smiled, but something about Lyn was different, maybe it was because Lyn had curled her hair? Or was it the blue muddy high heels? Or was it the annoying fact that Lyn was wearing a dress?

“Why are you wearing a dress?” Lexie asked. Lyn seldom wore dresses, the blue dress was beautiful but it wasn’t like Lyn.

“I like dresses,” Lyn said shortly, “Also, let’s get inside,” She smiled a little.

Lexie knew something was up, but she didn’t push it. She nodded and opened the door, despite the darkness of the house, Lexie felt a little safer; maybe it was because of Lyn?

She opened the lights, Lexie heard everyone in the house scream “WELCOME BACK LEXIE!” Lexie blinked in surprise. What the heck has just happened? Girls hugged her and boys thumped her shoulder and shook her hand. She wasn’t really aware of who was who or what was what.

She was only aware of scanning above everyone to look for him, He wasn’t there. Lexie felt something rush away from her, maybe he didn’t care? Sure Lexie wasn’t expecting a party but she had expected her friends to be there. Not all these strangers. Her house looked different, the walls were painted creamy white, people were talking most of them with red paper cups in their hands laughing and talking.

She saw Lyn talking to a brown haired boy, Cute but not her friends; they were standing alone on the grass of her backdoor, the glass was still clear. She always had four of her best friends forever; there was Lyn, the pretty Barbie girl with brown eyes. Ty a dirty blond who loved Linkin Park, Robin, the dark haired devil girl and Andy, the guy Lexie wanted to see. She found Ty soon; he was a head taller than her. His dark hair was messed up and his blue eyes sparkled at her. “Lil Lexie, is someone searching for Andy?” He said and hugged her. He wore a clean red shirt and jeans. Typical Ty.

“I’m not, I’m over him,” She said her voice devoid of emotion. “I missed you?”

“Enough to love me?” Ty said, smirking a little. Lexie was glad he didn’t change that much.

She giggled and thumped his shoulder. “Nah, you’re a total mode breaker,”

“Don’t be jealous, love, we all know I’m the life of the party,” He said teasingly. Then Robin’s dark head appeared, she was in a fiery red dress, not to tight but quite clingy, she wore a dark belt as well. Her brown eyes gleamed a little. She had one of those red cups in her hand.

Her hair was still wavy and she didn’t have that naughty glint in her eye. “Hey Lexie,” She said a little stiffly. Then she looked at Ty and beamed. “I missed you,” Lexie wasn’t sure who it was directed to. Ignoring Lexie, she stretched a little and gave Ty a peck on the lips, “Hope you didn’t miss me so bad,” She said smiling.

To anyone, it wouldn’t seem to mean much, but to Lexie it spoke words, Robin and Ty were dating. “It’s hard to miss you,” Ty said seriously “Mainly because you run around in my mind all the time,” Robin blushed and smiled, Ty looped his hand around her waist. Lexie couldn’t imagine them dating, they were so different, Ty was so flirty and fun, and Robin was like the female dare-devil and she took things seriously.

“Err, did you guys see Lyn?” Something changed at the moment, it wasn’t only the fact Lexie probably broke their moment, Ty stiffened and Robin looked… Ready to kill?

“I don’t know where she is?” Robin said, her voice was colder towards Lexie.

Lexie nodded and disappeared. She walked around the house, wondering why would these people even care about her, she didn’t recognise most of them. She felt a little lost. When, She finally found Lyn, “Where’s Andy?” She asked.

Lyn stopped talking to a blond girl and said “I don’t know, I invited him, I don’t think he will come through,”

“Wait so you still like him?” The blond girl asked. Lexie looked at her; she was in a mini skirt and a blue blouse that complimented her light blue eyes. Her hair was just below shoulder length and she was model slim. She looked like Haley, one of the girls from the popular crowd.

“No, I’ve moved on,” Lexie lied, She honestly didn’t know.

“Great,” She said in a party girl voice, “Wouldn’t it be so awkward if you did, I mean he is like dating Lyn now,”

Lexie looked at Lyn, hurt evident on her face.

“You’re with him?” She asked.

Lyn had those sad smiles on her face; she played with her curly fake hair and said “Yeah, kind off,” She didn’t look sorry in the least, she seemed to be gloating. Her face was quite hard and different.

Robbed, yes Lexie felt like someone had stolen a vital piece of her.
