Waking Up.

*Bo's POV*

I look around and there's blood splattered everywhere. The walls, floors, and I am covered fully. I try to walk forward, staggering, seeing bodies lying everywhere.

There's a small light at the end of a long blood-spattered hallway, so I walk toward it. I get an eerie feeling, but continue walking, hesitantly.

The light grows bigger and bigger until its almost blinding as I reach the end. The number if bodies laying have lessened and there's only a few here and there.

I look around and the light moves, turning a corner to another hallway, one much shorter. I make my way, following, knowing I probably shouldn't.

I slowed as the light did. There was a growing pool of blood, but no visible victim. I looked around, turn around, and when I turned back, I gasp.

There, in the center of the hall, everyone I loved lie there, dead; Kenzi, Dyson, Trick, and Lauren. I felt my heart constrict as I looked at my hands, feeling a thick liquid wash over them.

I realized that I had done these to everyone and-

I woke up on Lauren's couch, gasping and sweating bullets. I clutched my chest and looked to my hands, which unlike thirty seconds ago, were clean and just as I'd had before.

I looked around for someone and saw Lauren cooking in the kitchen. I tried to stand, but my head pounded, so I groaned and feel back onto the couch. Lauren herd me and rushed over to me and sat beside me as I situated myself into a sitting position.

She caressed my face before checking my forehead with her hand. "How're you feeling, Bo?" I pulled away from her touch, not wanting to lose contact, but needing to. "Peachy," I said sarcastically and she handed me a cup of coffee. I looked at the cup and asked quietly, "Lauren. What happened?"

"You'll feel better soon, I promise. I have everything under control. While you were sleeping, I injected some insyphlicona in to help ease your headache and reduce fever," she answered, skating right around the question. I looked at her and gave a faint smile and sipped from the cup.

After eating a quite awkward breakfast, I wanted to see Kenzi, so she dropped me off and went to her "job". Then I had to face reality and Kenzi, fearing what had happened before...

*Lauren's POV*

When I got to the Compound, I saw Evony's car outside and I mentally groaned. I went straight into the lab with so much as a nod to the guard outside.

I went straight into the room where Nadia was and I began talking to her like I always do. Explaining everything that was wrong.

After telling her everything, I heard the door open and the Ash walked in, followed by Evony. I bowed and I saw the Morrigan smirk, as if she had something up her sleeve.

I gave her a confused look and then the Ash spoke on his raspy voice, "Doctor, we have a proposal. How would you like the cure to this disease that's death-riddling your lover?"

I felt my heart drop and instantly agreed to everything... Until the end of it all, then I got suspicious.

"Also, as part of the agreement, Bo will eternally be on service to the Dark. No arguments." I looked shocked at Evony and realized she knew I would react this way.

She chuckled and said, "Oh, come on, one lover for another, right?" I felt my body ignite with rage, yet I contained myself. "I decline. As generous as this sounds, I can't do that to Bo." Evony smirked and again, the Ash spoke.

"Lauren, I didn't mean for this to come out as an offer. It's an order. You'll save your little girlfriend and help lure Bo into the Dark's custody." I began to rebut with him, but he cut me off, by calling in an old Shaman that brought a wooden board filled with nails, and a hammer.

I looked at him and knelt, knowing exactly what was happening. The Shaman hobbled over and I stood as he reached me. He offered me the hammer and a nail. He gestured for me to drive it into the wood.

As my hands shook readying the nail, wood, and hammer. I took a small tap, steadying myself. I began to hammer lightly and I felt the first tear fall. I knew I was gaining Nadia back, yet I was losing another love.

I drove the nail through the board and I silently sobbed as Evony laughed, evilly. The Shaman bowed and turned to leave, followed by the Ash.

Evony stayed behind to gloat. "Awh, honey. Don't worry, I'll take care of Bo." I snapped back instantly with, "This will never happen!" She laughed and sighed, "Calm, pet, or I'll tell your master."

With that, she left. I walked to Nadia and opened the capsule her body still laid limp inside. I continued to sob, worried about Bo. I stared deadly at Nadia's still body until I heard her choke for air.

I immediately threw the blanket off of her and helped her sit up. I patted her back and hugged her dearly and when I pulled back, she looked at me and sobbed, "Lauren. What happened?"

My heart broke when I heard those same words again today, the first time from Bo...
