Cherry Watson

"Shit! It's already 4AM", she gasped. Hurriedly getting out of the bed ,made up of hay and straws ,she got out of her doorless hut and ran towards the highway. Taking out her car keys that was parked beside the highway she mumbled to herself ,"I won't be able to own the world if I keep on oversleeping like this. Cherry ! You need to stay focussed!"

She drove towards the ocean and stopped her car slightly dipped in the water. She got out and waited for the sunrise looking at the stars that were slowing fading away " I'll own you too one day " she whispered to the stars with a fire burning in her eyes.

"Miss Watson!What would you like for breakfast today?" , asked the maid as she helped Cherry get out of her coat. "Anything will do . Where's Mr. Smith?" she said walking through the hall of her gigantic mansion. It would take 30 minutes to walk through the whole house and maybe an hour to walk beside the huge walls that sorround it. Her mansion was so gigantic that it seemed surreal untill you see it with your own eyes. The doors were up to 15 feet tall usually needing two people to open it. A huge swimming pool that seemed to little kids like an ocean . There was even an area with dense trees that looked like a forest. And a huge rock in the backyard that Cherry loved to climb. It was not much different than mountain climbing.
"How was your morning walk Miss Watson?" , asked the butler.
"Urgh well it was fine . I was late again . I hate being a mortal who needs sleep to survive. There's just so much i need to do. Will you check my schedule for today Mr. Smith?",said she.
"First stop you have a meeting this morning with the employees."
"What's the meeting for ?"
" Ummm . The yearly meeting you keep to fire the employees that you consider not so useful throughout the year."
"Oh ! It's been one more year already with no improvement at all. It's because of these useless people that I'm lagging behind at my task. Cancel the stupid meeting and fire all of them right away!"
"But Miss Watson , there are hundreds on the list , many will be jobless without even getting a chance for explanation. I suggest you atleast keep the meeting."
"No matter what they say they were useless this year and I'm going to fire all of them anyway. Why waste my and their time on this meeting when we all know the conclusion?"
"Atleast they will feel better if you fire them with proper meeting , that's all I'm saying Miss. Watson!"
" Urgh! I can't be wasting my time on their stupid human feelings. Just fire them all , give them some payoff , as much as they ask for,whatever!", she walked towards her study hall making an order.

Her study hall was no less than a national library. You could find books about everything and anything in there. Kindles all over the place with million more books. Most of them about nuclear physics, Quantum physics, space, universe, the Earth, other planets,asteroids, just everything about and around the world.There were exactly 37 laptops and ultrabooks all over the place. The previous maid tried opening one of them and never showed up the next day. Maybe because she knew she was going to be fired anyway because everyone knew that Cherry would find out right away.
"Ummm.Miss Watson! Mr. Johnathan Stewart is here to see you. Should I let him in?", asked the maid politely.
"Johnathan who? Who is he ?Whatever !Send him away! Tell him I'm not home." said Cherry focussed , her head immersed in her book.
"What the fuck?! You don't even know me and yet you fired me? Why? I need a pretty good explanation or I'll sue you for employee harashment Miss Cherry Watson!", shouted a young man barging into the study hall.
"Oh my .. How did you enter the house? My apologies Miss Watson I'll take him out right away!",exclaimed the maid.
"Yes do that. Now don't disturb me!", said Cherry with a flat voice not even looking up from her book to see just who had shouted at her,absolutely uninterested.
The young man went up to her threw her book away and grabbed her color making her to stand up. "Your attitude won't do with me! Cherry ! You better give a proper explaination to why you fired me!", shouted he with anger in his eyes.
"You're useless that's why!"
His anger changed into a confused state immidiately after listening to her answer in a flat voice, looking at her absolutely uninterested face with no reaction at all even when he grabbed her color . He was taken down by the butler right away . "Weren't you given the exact amount you asked for. Why are you still here?",the butler shouted at him.
"Keep it low!",said Cherry picking up her book.
"Just once!Just once I need to talk to her. Miss Cherry ! Give me one chance to work beside you. I promise you that I'll be useful. I'll be more useful to you than the NASA scientists you've employed! I can assure you that they don't know what I' ve known for years. Please hear me out once. I don't even need you money!", he gasped while the butler threw him out of the mansion.
She looked up from her book for the first time with little interest on what just happened, kept her book aside and went up to the window to see the young man being thrown out. "Bring him in!", she whispered to the maid.
