Farewell at the foot of the hill

Caught inside an alternate reality of own

Where the sakura trees are in full bloom

At the foot of the hill I must confront alone

A regret that left me unable to forgive myself

She is walking away again just like yesterday

But I won't take another chance to let her away

I need to follow her, hold her, I have so much to say

I longed for this moment, the wind made the branches sway

Running as fast as I can, I won't let this chance pass

I hope I can catch her for she is my atonement

My dream of a new morning with her and our daughter

And to wake up to the sound of their laughter

I finally hugged her and told how I missed her

How if I didn't met her, things would be much better

But she told me to never regret that fateful day

For to a place where wishes come true I showed the way

Suddenly, back to the room where our tomorrow was born

I held it then cried because history left my heart torn

But she opened her eye, barely alive yet worn

The snowflakes fell through the new morn
