Sometimes hope seems overrated.

Sometimes the people you love do things to dampen your hope and you wonder if it's even there anymore.

Sometimes you feel so empty you wonder where your soul has gone and why.

The hopeless will lie to you:

"Hope is for suckers."

"Hope is for the weak."

"Hope kills people and it changes others."

"Hope is a dangerous thing."

Then of course...hope is the only thing that is always there.

Hope is the only truly reliable thing in life.

So is hope hard to maintain?
Of course.

Is hope worth maintaining?
Always.
