Chapter Eight: Regrets

A/N: I'm writing this whilst eating pizza so if this chapter is not good I've lost all faith in the magic of pizza! Just kidding I'm always gonna love that cheesy stuff! 💜

To say the least yesterday's lunch was really awkward. But now it was breakfast and Caden was acting like nothing happened and everything was peachy. And so was I.

Besides that breakfast was spectacular. There was pancakes, waffles, toast, cereal and smoothies. Not to mention the huge variety of drinks you could have. Throughout breakfast all I could think about was what happened to the food that we don't eat. Do the maids, cooks and butlers eat it.
"Bloss can you pass me the syrup?"
Mind you that's a lot of people to feed and a bit cruel to that they would eat the leftovers . Or does it just get thrown away? Because that's just a waste!
"Bloss?"
So where does it go?
"Bloss?!?"
I snap out of my trance to see everyone staring at me.
"Yes." I squeak.
And with that and everyone bursts out laughing. I start laughing too.
"Blossom why are you laughing you don't even know what happened?" Caden chuckle.
I shrugged but carried on giggling. The awkwardness between Caden and I had now completely disappeared.

After breakfast I went up to my room and played some COD when all of a sudden Caden jumps out of my walk-in wardrobe with Mason on his back making animal-like growling noises. I jump out of my skin and fall of the side of my bed scared half to death.

I see mason run over to me laughing his head of. "Oh ha ha ha very funny guys." I say I'm amused. "WE GOT YOU! WE GOT YOU!" Mason shouts jumping up and down then runs out of the room. "What drug is he on?" I ask Caden who's wiping his eyes.

He chuckles as he walks over to the corner of my room and gets his phone. "You filmed that!"
"Of course. It was priceless!" He says showing me the video. I can't lie it was pretty funny.
"If I find that on YouTube u swear I'll.... I'll do something."
"Yeah yeah yeah." He replies grabbing a controller.

Caden's really good at COD I mean I thought I was good but he was really good. After he killed me for the seventh time I finally said "Okay I give up you win at COD."
"Did you think you were gonna beat me?"
"Shut up." I reply not admitting that I thought I was better then him.

"Soooooo....." I start
"No."
"What?" I question slightly confused.
"We're not doing this." He says seriously.
"Doing what?" Now I was even more confused.
"Doing the whole what's are we, what is this or what are we doing conversation. Look yesterday was a mistake. I'm supposed to be taking care of you not making out with you. Neither of us need this. You understand right?"
"Yeah yeah I totally get it. Like we are basically family anyway. Yesterday shouldn't have happened." I say to him quietly. I've got to say what he said kinda hurt. I mean I don't have feelings for him but he was my first kiss and even though he's right I can't help feeling a little upset about it.

'Grrrrggggggggg' my stomach rumbled. How on earth am I already hungry? I think to myself on the way to the kitchen to get some more food!

A/N: Hay here's a new chapter for you and does this mean the end for the Caden and Blossom romance? DUN DUN DUUUUNNNNNN!!!!! Or maybe it isn't? Heh heh heh😏 Sorry this is a short chapter I just really couldn't think of anything to write but it's the summer holidays and I'm sure I'll get inspiration for some where!
