Tripping.. Into Love

It's Wednesday, at 12:42.

Today Abigail could have Totally Sworn that Jacob was looking at her in a very special way, when in fact she had a bee hovering over her, which was probably more interesting to Jacob than her greasy hair.

In other words, I was having a pretty boring day.

My teacher was droning on about algebra or whatever when my eyes wandered over to the window.

There was a group of boys playing soccer on the field. Watching them was much more interesting than my teacher right now.

I was about to start doing my work again before one of the boys turned around to smile at me.

I just stared back. What was I supposed to do?

He winked at me and then continued with the game. My first boy encounter in months.

"Anyway, she said that she definitely didn't like him, but she totally does! I see the way she looks at him. She knows how I feel! She's such a- Chloe! Are you even listening?"

I was shocked out of my thoughts by Abigail, gossiping once again. I love her, but really social statuses and popularity wasn't my thing.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm listening."

"What is up with you? Are you okay?" Abigail looked me in the eye, searching for emotion.

"I'm fine."

"Okay... but you can talk to me if you have any problems, yeah? I love you Chloe and you are my bae."

I laughed, "Baes for life!" and we hugged.

I heard a loud crash from behind me. I turned around, and see the guy who waved at me before.

He smiled, and started to walk over.

"Oh. My. Sugar. Who is that?!" Abigail squealed, "Do you have a boyfriend?!"

"No, oh my god. I don't even know who he is," I rolled my eyes.

"I'd like to change that," a low voice says from behind me.

"Oh! I didn't know you heard that.." I stutter as he sat down next to me.

"Can I put a name to your beautiful face?" he smiled slowly and gazed at me with his big brown eyes.

"I'm Chloe.. what's your name?" I tried to match his confidence but my voice cracked a little when I spoke.

"I'm Adrien. I'd better see you around, Chloe," the way he said my name gave me goosebumps.

Abigail, who had been sitting in shocked silence the whole time, finally says something, "OH MY GOD!!"
