The only ones left inside the prison was mostly Rick's group. Besides the two little girls, Maggie and Melinda. Everyone was gathered around inside the courtyard. Hershel, Beth and Carl were sat on a picnic table. Carol with the two girls were sat on another picnic table. Glenn and Maggie stood behind everyone as Rick walked in to talk to them.
Everyone stared at Rick waiting for what he had to say. "When I met with the Governor, he offered me a deal. He said.....He would leave us alone if we gave him Michonne."
They all looked around, Daryl, Merle and Michonne were no where to be seen.
"And I was going to do that. To keep us safe......Well, I changed my mind. But now Merle took Michonne to fulfill the deal and Daryl went to stop him and I don't know if it is too late....... I was wrong not to tell you. Im sorry. What I said, last year that first night after the farm, it can't be like that......What we do. What we are willing to do. Who we are. It's not my call. It can't be......I can't sacrifice one of us for the greater good because we are the greater good. We are the reason we are still here, not me. This is life and death......How you live, how you die, it's not up to me. I'm not your Governor. We choose to go, we choose to stay. We stick together."
A couple of minutes go by.
"We vote on what we want to do." Rick continued. "We can stay and we can fight, or we can go."
-Outside the Prison-
The group followed a set of railroad tracks that were next to the burnt part of the forest. They were looking for William and Rebecca. But it was almost like searching for two needles in a hay stack. The odds of them being found alive were slim.
William was never the type of person to just give up however. He would make sure that he and Rebecca would go down fighting. There is no doubt about that.
"He's alive." Lucas said from behind Garrett who was leading the way down the tracks.
Garrett acknowledged her with a nod of his head, but he didn't say anything. He felt guilty still.
"It's William we are talking about." Lucas smiled. "Both he and Rebecca were there from the beginning."
He was scared of what they will encounter if they find William and Rebecca. The situation in which they might find. "If they are held up, if something has gotten them stuck. Maybe someone....The people out here, they'll hunt us, they'll find us, they'll try to use us, they'll try to kill us....but we will kill them."
He turned the subject dark. Something was wrong with him, Lucas sensed as she walked beside him. Though she wasn't surprised, the others have informed her what has happened while she was gone. She was also there for the scene with the death of Mitchel and the complete banishment of Lakota.
The rail road track snaked around the trees and disappeared from sight. It was well worn but now, branches hung low over the tracks, there were even some broken branches and a downed tree that they had crossed over earlier. Branches overhung in their quest for more sunlight, making an archway of green.
As they walk around the bend. A sign comes into view. It reads, "Sanctuary for all, community for all, those who arrive, survive." Then it has a map of the local rail road tracks, with a big star at the center of it and above the star reads, Terminus, in big blocky words written with a marker.
"What the hell?" Clayton mutters from the back, having read the sign.
"You think William and Rebecca could be there?" Lucas asked Garrett who was staring at the sign.
"We don't even know if this place is still in existences." Dave said speaking up as he got closer to the sign. He points at the wood in which the sign is nailed to. He goes up and hits the wood and a chunk of it falls off. "This place could have gone under months or maybe even several years ago. Considering the wear and tear on the map itself, I bet this place has nothing but Walkers in it now."
