A new beginning (pt.2)

"Jarvis " you said "stop the car "
He stopped the car with a screeching halt .
"I have everything would you stop worrying about me "! I said yelling
"Miss Carter ! I would do anything it's just you should be afraid of people you care about right ?" He said staring at me
"Your right , I'm so sorry Mr.Jarvis " you said
"Me too Miss Carter " he said quietly and continued driving
We were in total silence until we arrived at Roxxon .
"Your ride Miss Carter " he said sadly
"Mr . Jarvis "I said slowly
"No need for apologies Miss Carter , if you need me I'll be there " he said wearing his hat
You just looked at him and went out the door .
The company was opened the lights blaring with a huge ROXXON sign , as I took out the mind erasing gadget thing
"Let's get to work , Carter " I whispered to myself
I saw some guards , and knocked them both slowly ..
I went into the building , the footsteps quiet them a huge creek my heart beating my faster my footsteps getting quicker in seconds .
I was met by a huge door who was half open , and a man stood there playing pool .
"Hey , Peg " he said grinning
"H-Howard "?! You said staring at him
"Duck " he said slowly
I ducked , as Howard threw the pool ball at a man .
"What on earth are you doing at a Roxxon facility "?! I said hugging him
"Dealing with things " he said continuing playing
"What "? I said confused
"Jarvis " he said smirking
"Jarvis "? I said looking around
"Peg , I though you were smart " he said putting the stick down
"I am it's just -"
My voice was cut with Jarvis , as he had a suitcase
"It would be wonderful if we would leave " he said smiling and painting heavily
"Alright , Peg met you in 2 minutes in the alleyway "? Howard said
"Al-"
"Duck " he said again rolling his eyes and throwing a ball
"Make that a one " I said running out the door
I flipped through my notebook , trying to find the other of Howard's "babies " .
"The what "? I whispered
It was a weird cylinder like ball thing (like a yellow one ) but wasn't glowing .
I went running slowly , into a room full of a boxes , and opened one and found it , I snatched it and put it in my bag .
I was outside in less than a minute kicking ass , and mind erasing it became exaughsted .
I went in the car taking a deep breath, it's going to blow " I said
"What "? Jarvis said
"DRIVE "! I yelled
I was jolted frontwards , as the car screeched
"3..2...1" I closed my eyes
There was a huge blow as the glass broke through , me and Jarvis slammed forward as Howard fell slamming into the back of the seat
"Well " Howard said getting up
"Why didn't you tell me Howard " I said angrily
"Couldn't risk it " he said
"So where should we be going " Jarvis said coughing
"Griffin Hotel " I said sitting up
"Griffin "? Howard said "I know men aren't supposed to be there " Howard said
"I know " I said thinking of a way
"I could sneak you in through the garbage " I said
"And look at all the ladies I'd  meet " Howard said grinning
Jarvis was staring at both of us confused , and went on driving
"Sir " he said
