After walking a few blocks away from my apartment, me and Em finally arrived at the beach.

I went down near the water and sat down on the rocky beach.

Emily sat next to me, we watched as the waves crashed into the shore.

Cold breeze kept on hitting my face.

The clouds were slightly heavy but the moon managed to get it's light out through them.

The darkness of the night made me remember my childhood..which wasn't very pleasing.

With a father who didn't have anything to do but judge me and my brother, and who always yelled at how useless we are.

My father was different. Normally when you have a conversation with what i call.."normal human beings"
And you got a specific opinion about something. They'd accept hearing your opinion maybe you're right in some point, but my dad wasn't that person at all! It was his opinion only.
Even if it's a scientific fact.

Even if i fought and proved him wrong, he'd talk it off and change the topic, which surprised me. How could someone be so full of themselves..?

Besides of that the "sexual harassing" he did to me most of his presence on the house.

Some people might get surprised and ask again if it's seriously my father who used to do that so i have to repeat myself.

It was a very few times when i was a kid but since i started my teenage years and my hormones started growing a little and have the normal "women features" it started to get more by time.

I used to let him but once i became 14 i started to push him away, push his hands away and tell him to stop.

What's surprising that he used to do that in front of my mom and she used to tell him to stop.

He only gave us a small pathetic words as a respond
"She's my daughter. I can do whatever i want"

It was as pathetic as him. He never stuck to a job, when he did he keeps on complaining 'till he gets fired.

It seemed like it was his favourite thing to do.

Me and my mom always wondered how his brain works.

My brother was out of that, only when there's something about his work he comes and talks.

I wondered how his brain works as well. His posts on social media and how he seemed depressed most of the time but had a great way of hiding it.

I was always kinda of worried about him. Sometimes i just didn't give a fuck about anything.
He never really cared as well so i just kinda of let everything be the way they're supposed to be.

Mom was the kindest heart on the planet, i wish she lived more years.

But yea i didn't really complain about anyone's passing. I tried to remember the most of their good memories.
I did that since my grand ma died.

"Celine?" Emily's voice cut my thoughts

"Yea?" I said looking at the sea.

"I wanna tell you something" she said looking down

"Shoot" i said still focusing on the waves.

She took a deep breath,"sothere'sthisboythatilike" she said quickly failing at her last words which made her chuckle at herself.

"Well done honey" i said giggling at her attempt of talking fast enough so i won't understand.

"Who is he?" I asked

She looked at me confused, "how the hell did you manage to get my words out correctly?" she raised an eyebrow at me.

"Who.is.he?" I asked again

"Well, he's in my french class" she said hugging her knees like i was hugging mine.

"Nice," i smirked.

"He's..Canadian" she said

"Wanna get a coffee as we talk about this?" I asked looking at my metallic heart shaped thin watch on my wrist

"4am" it read
"Sure," she said and got up helping me up with her

I placed my hands on my sweater
pockets. "Complete please" i said smiling at her

"That's all i know" she said blushing a deep red

"Really? That's all you know?" I complained as we walked on the streets, the yellow bright lights illuminating the streets in front of us.

She nodded her head

"I guess i catched his name once. There was this girl who seemed very excited to see him, so she kinda of squealed his name and hugged him after we finished class" she added

"And his name is?" I asked catching her attention

"Daniel" she answered simply

"Nice" i said with a smirk playing on my face

We entered my favourite Cafe, histoire d'amour.

It was a place that i go to every night.
It was a reading cafe shop and it wasn't very busy in the night time.

Usually there's me and very few other customers that comes daily at night to read or to just sit doing nothing.
I've always wondered what's going on on their minds.

Emily went with me twice before, because she have classes in the morning and works with me in Destiny.

Destiny is a cafe shop that's owned by a very nice guy called Samir, we usually call him Sam.

Sam is 55 and treats us like we're his children.

Em found a table for two and sat on it
"So, what u gonna order? I'll get it" i asked

"The special" she winked at me. "And the chocolate cheesecake" she added
I chuckled and walked off

Jouhana played with her head, the times Emily came here she made a special drink for her since i was one of the loyal customers.

I went to the cashier which is called Stefan

We knew each others since i only went there at night and he worked on the night shift with Johanna.

"Good Evening Celine, what would you like to order?" he said smiling at me.

"The usual for me and Emily's special with a chocolate cheesecake" i said handing him 20 pounds

"So one Caramel latte and hazelnut coffee with chocolate cheesecake on the side?" He asked

"Yes sir" i said smiling brightly at him

"There you go" he said giving me the change and the receipt.
I went over to where Johanna was standing making our orders

"Hey Jou" i said.
"Hey Celine, how are you?" she asked as she mixed the coffee with the caramel.

"I'm great, how are you?" I asked

"Great, it's a nice slow night" she said smiling at me.

"Yea, it's very calm" i said looking outside the window that's next to her..

Very calm..
