More Than Just A Friend

Lauren's POV 

"Don't you dare talk to my friend that way, do you understand?!" 

"Look, I was just being honest, really!" 

"Don't even think about it! You know what? We're over, okay?! O-ver!" I said, as I stomped out of the way, and walked outside the school district.

"That was brilliant Lauren!! How did you reckon that'll work??" I heard Harry asked, as I jumped up immediately, not knowing that he was  there the whole time.

"..God! Why do you always scare me like that?! You almost gave me a heart-attack!!" I yelled, giving Harry a friendly-way push with my bare hands.

"Sorry Lauren..." 

"It's okay, Hazza, I know you didn't mean to..." I said, as I looked down with a smile on my face.

*Brendon walked pass me with his new girlfriend like he didn't even notice me!* 

"How rude of him!" I said to myself, not knowing that Harry was next to me.

"It doesn't matter Lauren, you're starting a new life ahead of you... Why won't we go grab some snacks and go watch a movie with me? Is that okay with your aunt?" 

"Sure, that's fine... I'm sure she'll be okay with that..."

(At the movie theatre...)

Oh my God!! I'm SO nervous!! I don't know if Harry likes me! I mean, I don't know if he has feelings towards me yet! Just calm down and everything will be alright... 

"Are you scared yet??" Harry asked with a smirk look on his face.

"Harry, you know I hate scary movies..." 

"Don't worry, I'll protect you... Just close your eyes if you have to..." 

"O-okay... If you s-say so..." I said, leaning my head onto his shoulder,

(2 hours later...)

"That was good wasn't it??" Harry said, jumping with excitement.

"Y-yeah, it was..." I said, with a nervous laugh. 

"Let's get you home, shall we?" Harry said, putting his arm around me.

(At my House)

"I had a blast being with you tonight..." Harry said, as he closed the front door of the car, being a gentleman as always. 

"Oh yeah..." I said with a smile. "Thank you for protecting me over the movie, Harry. I really appreciate it." 

"No problem Lauren!" Harry said with a smile.

Oh my God! His face, his body, his... Dimples! I HAVE to tell him that I like him!  

"Lauren... I want to tell you something..."

"What is it?" I asked him curiously, folding my arms.

"Um... okay, how do I say this?" Harry said looking up, hoping for an answer.

"Yes? What is it you wanted to tell me?" 

"Will you be my friend?" 

"What are you talking about? I am your friend, silly!" I said, laughing.

"No, I meant like this..."  

*Harry gave me a kiss on the cheek* 

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Harry whispers into my ear, sending shivers down my spine as I smiled.

"S-sure, I'm kinda cold..." 

"Oh are you. Babe? Here, I'll hand you my coat."

."Thanks Harry, you're so sweet..." I said as i gave him a gentle kiss. 

*We both got inside hand-in-hand, laughing having a good time together*
