AUGUST 20, 2000

A lady in her mid to late twenties was on a hospital bed screaming in pain, her husband standing next to her as she clenched his hand in pain stood, face as stoic as can be. His bulging muscles had veins popping out of them. The pack doctor stood at the foot of the bed calmly leading the lady as she pushed. "I see the head, you are doing really well Luna." The doctor had said. "SHe has such beautiful hazel eyes" her husband had said in awe. "One final push, Luna." he said once again. She pushed as hard as she could and at that very moment, through the window, something almost on fire blazed across the sky lighting up the night.

Then there was silence. The Luna cried out to her husband and the doctor. "WHY CAN'T I HEAR HER?" She kept crying out to them. They never replied. She heard the commotion the nurses and doctor were making and couldn't help but worry more. She heard one gentle pat and then intense cries. She sighed in relief. "Can I hold her?" she asked exhausted. The nurses finished swaddling the small bundle and passed over the baby. She looked at the baby with such happiness and pride. The baby, herself, looked back up at her mother as she held tightly onto the finger of her mother. The Luna's brows furrowed together. "Honey, didn't you say her eyes were hazel?" She asked. "I did, they are so beautiful." he said.

"Her pupils...." her voice trailed off. "Her pupils?" the nurse asked. "Can you call the doctor?" she asked. "Of course Luna." the nurse scurried off and came back just as quickly with the doctor. "Yes luna?" he asked. "Hr pupils, they are clouded over..." the Luna cried out with sadness. "They weren't like that earlier..." her husband trailed over then continued. "The shooting star!" he exclaimed. "I was looking at her as she came out. Her pupils were black like normal, but as soon as the star went away, it clouded over!" One of the nurses cleared her throat. "Shooting stars normally don't have that kind of color for the tail. They are normally orange or yellow, this one was purple." she said. "I've read of that before.... The prophecy book!" the Luna exclaimed. "Can you call the oracle here?" she pleaded. Her husband nodded. His eyes had a distant look then they refocused and he nodded.

The door opened and an elderly lady walked in. Bells gently jingling as her robe swayed. She held her hand out and hovered over the babies head. Her eyes closed and she mumbled a mantra in latin. Her eyes shot open. "08202000, thou who shall become alive shall face a grave curse, but shall be granted many blessings." said the raspy voice of the lady. "So, the curse is what? exactly?" the Alpha asked. "Blindness, for eternity, in her next life and her past." the lady said with no hesitation. "And the blessings?" the luna asked. "We shall find out, the one thing that does change with every lifetime, is the blessings." she replied. With that said she vanished within a cloud of fog.

PRESENT

The 15, almost 16, year old girl sat in her room trailing he fingers along the wall. She felt every little crevice, every little crack, every little bump. The finger then stopped as something warm gripped it. The voice of her older brother vibrated against her eardrums. "We should be heading out to school soon." She was quick to complain. "Do I have to?" her light, soothing voice asked. Her brothers deeper, smooth one replied. "Yes, don't worry, You got me" her hand found their way to her brothers cheeks and felt them turned upward. "Yea, yea. But that's what worries me the most. Is that your there." She said. He gasped in mock hurt. They both laughed and he helped her into his car and they drove off.

They soon got to the school. Her brother opened the door and held both of their backpacks. She held his arm tightly as they made their way through the halls. The other girls looked at them in jealousy and hate. Of course that is those who were human. They finally got to their classroom and sat in a seat. She felt a couple of gusts of air pass her then a couple of people sitting in chairs. "YOOOOOO~ BROOO! Who's this?!" A guy exclaimed over-excited. "Well, Jared. This is my dongsaeng, Soo Jin." He said. "Y-you can call me Jin." she said quietly. She felt someone pinch her cheek. "Damn you are so cute." She blushed lightly. Her hands released her brother's sleeves and up to Jared's face. She trailed over every feature. His tall. pointed nose, he large almond eyes, and his semi-plump lips. Her hands stayed like that until she was able to get a picture of him. But before that was finished, a girl screaming running at them slapped her hands away. "HEY! WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TO BE TOUCHING MY BOYFRIEND'S FACE?!" a girl yelled.

Jin's head went down. "I'm sorry. I didn't know. I was just trying to imagine how he looks." she said. "Why would you need to imagine it, when you can very clearly just look at him and see?!" the girl replied with a bitchy tone. "First of all Candy, I am NOT your boyfriend! Second, Does it matter?!" Jared started yelling back. "IT DOES MATTER! SHE'S TRYING TO STEAL YOU FROM ME!" "I WAS NEVER YOURS TO BEGIN WITH!!!" "STOP!!!!" Her brother exclaimed. "She is my little sister. Don't you ever dare lay a hand or disrespect alpha blood. Second, " he raised her head up. "She is blind, she wants to know how he looks. She can only do so much to know. SO you can either apologize and never bother us again, or you can face pack punishments." her brothers voice resonated with authority.

She sound her brothers arm and pulled it down. "It's fine oppa. She, they didn't know." her voice rang gently in all their ears. It had calmed them all down, all but one. "Hmph! Whatever, Watch your back bitch." the girl said then left. "i'm sorry about her, i have to go get things straight." Jared said then left.
