The next morning i woke up by the sun shining through the window. I dragged myself out of bed and went downstairs to make breakfast. I walked into the kitchen and opened the cabinet to grab a box of cereal and a bowl. I poured some milk and walked to the couch and sat down. I turned on the tv and started eating. "Breaking news! Demi Lovato's father passed away yesterday. The funeral will be today. Location is unknown." I started to think about the day i heard my parents passed away. I know how she feels. My idol lost her father.
I finished eating and took a shower. I got dressed and headed to the cemetery. While is was walking to my parents' and brothers' grave, i saw a group of people holding each others hands and crying. I didn't saw any familiar faces. I sat on my knees at the graves. "Hey mom, dad, Thomas. Its me again. You guys might get tired of me haha." I looked up and saw a girl running away from the group. It looks like she was crying, but nobody ran after her. "I'll be right back. love you." I stood up and walked towards the girl. She was leaning against a wall. She was crying hysterically. "Hey, are you okay?", i asked. "I'm fine", the girl said without looking at me. "Whats wrong?", i asked. "Its my dad. I lost him. After everything we've been through, i still love him. And i wish i could've spent more time with him." "I know what you mean. I lost my parents when i was 15 years old. They were both hard workers. They were never home. Then one day they came home a couple of hours earlier to spent some time with me. On their way home, they got in a serious car accident. They died instantly." "Wow. That must be horrible.. i'm sorry." "It is. I still miss them so much. But i'm over it. And it will get easier for you too. I promise", i said. I already recognized her, Demi Lovato. But i just wanted to be here for her. Not being the crazy fan. "Thank you so much", she said. "No problem. I'm Ashley by the way", i said reaching out my hand to help her up. "I'm Demi, nice to meet you." "I know who you are, i said while giggling. "But i just wanted to help you. No fangirling here." We both laughed. "Thank you, again." I smiled. We stared in each others eyes for a little while. "Uhm, i should go back", she said. "Yeah haha." "Oh wait", i said. I grabbed a paper and a pen out of my pocket and wrote my number down. "Here's my number, if you want to talk. Or if you need help with this." She smiled. "Thank you. I might call you later, if you don't mind..." "No of course not. Call me whenever you want." "Okay, thank you. Bye", she said smiling. "Bye", i smiled back. I walked back to the graves and looked at Demi. She is so pretty. After a while i got home. I sat down and my phone rang. "Hello?", i said. "Hey, its me, Demi." It sounded like she was crying. "Hey, are you okay?", i asked. "The truth? No, not at all." "Do you need someone?" "Yes i do, so bad. But my family is not that upset about it", she said disappointed. "Why don't you come over at my house? I'll cheer you up." "Are you sure you want a crying girl in your house?", she asked. "Yes of course. But do have to buy a few boxes of tissues than", i said while laughing. She laughed too. "I'll text you my address", i said. "Okay thank you." "No problem. See you later." We hung up. After 30 minutes the doorbell rang. I opened the door and saw Demi with puffy eyes. "Hey, come in", i said. She came in and i closed the door.
