Camp Spirit Bear disappears!
From the June 27th paper.
Today was the day that many parents were waiting for their kids to come back from the long week of camp. Camp Spirit Bear was having their first summer camp for a week. 40 kids were signed up.
The parents drove out to go pick up their kids to find the camp gone. Not just the kids, but the entire camp too.
“I specifically remember the camp being a small island like area in the middle of a large river.” Says Mindy Rollins, who’s daughter, Taylor, had been sent to the camp. “I remember the councilors telling the kids to stay away from the river. It was too deep and dangerous unless you had the boats that they used.”
The police are baffled at how an entire island can just disappear. None of the kids have shown up and the police promise to keep looking. If you have any information concerning the mysterious camp, please contact the local police.
