Finally

Kate POV

Me and Sebastian sat on the couch, his arm around me as I laid snuggled into his chest. We had been talking for close to twenty minutes but it only felt like five. He had mentioned that he would be out of town for three days but after this trip wouldn't have anymore for a while. It had been quiet for a minute before he broke the silence.

"I'll have to leave soon." He said as he pulled me closer to him and kissed the top of my head. I groaned before hiding my face in the hoodie he was currently wearing. "Do you have to go?" I whined, peeking up at him from under my safe zone. "Sadly I do, I should have done this sooner huh?" He grinned as he pulled me so we were face to face. "Done what?" I asked as I gazed into his gorgeous eyes. They were an array of multiple blues and they were stunning. "This." He gestured to us. "There's no way I could have gone another three days without knowing if I had a chance or not." I looked away from his eyes for a second because I realized he hadn't addressed the elephant in the room. "Is somethin wrong?" He asked before furrowing his eyebrows together. "No not at all, I'm just thinking." "About?" He inquired. "Sebastian, where does this leave us?" I blurted out before I would lose my strength to do so. "Well, how about we go on a date when I return and we'll find out then." "Okay." I agreed. I had waited this long, three days wouldn't kill me.

"I think there's something I should tell you." I laughed lightly before sitting up and looking at Sebastian. "What is it?" He said suddenly interested. "I may have kissed someone yesterday but it was your fault so there's no need for you to worry. Just wanted to put it out there!" I said with a cocky little smile before cuddling back into his side. He pulled me up so I as almost in his lap and eyed me curiously. "So.." he began "Someone managed to kiss you before I did, and it's my fault?" He asked the question with a smirk on his face and an attitude of almost mock shock. "Your kiss with Laura had consequences." I laughed before pushing him playfully. "Who kissed you?" He asked pulling me closer to him. "Remember Henry?" I mumbled while playing with the tassels on his hoodie. When I looked at his face I immediately buried my head on his chest. He looked shocked. Not a bad type of shock though, more of a hilarious one. "No way!" He said before hugging me really tight. Except the hug didn't end, he didn't let go. "I can't let you go, you know that right?" He whispered in my ear. It sent shivers down my body and distracted my thoughts longer than I'd like to admit. "And why's that?" I managed to say as I forced my face up to his level. "Because then you would go back to work and have to see him half naked." His face turned to one of frustration and I couldn't help from smiling. "What's making you so happy?" He said with the same look on his face. "Are you jealous?" I asked without hiding the teasing tone in my voice. Before I could make sense of what was happening Sebastian lifted me up and put me in his lap completely before holding on to me like I was his crutch. "Were you jealous at the Premiere?" I stuck my tongue out at him before he began to laugh.

Just as Sebastian was getting ready to leave a thought crossed my mind. "Ugh!" I groaned before putting my head into my hands. "What is it?" Sebastian said as he came over to me. "I had asked Henry to take me to get a dog today." I said before looking at Sebastian again. I Sebastian looked as if he was about to say something but then he hesitated. "I'm not going to go." I said as I sensed some of his concern. "That's a relief, I didn't really want to say anything but..". He trailed off not really needing to finish his sentence. "How am I going to get out of it?" I plopped back down on the couch as I began thinking of a million different excuses I could use. Sebastian checked his phone before mumbling a 'damn' under his breathe and walking back over to me. "I've got to leave now to catch the plane, just tell him the truth. I'm sure it will be fine." I got up to give him a hug goodbye as I walked him to the door. Just as I was about to shut the door he turned around and planted a kiss on my lips. "I'll be back soon." He said as he held my face in his hands and rested his forehead on mine. "Hurry back soldier."
