Before, I never would've catered thought to a topic such as this, but lately I can't help but wonder. Why must we store hate in our hearts? Is it so hard to love that we have just given up on it all together? What has made us hurt so intensively that we are shadowed by a cloud of weakness, immorality and spite?
You can only expect to receive the love you put out into the world.
Recently we are seeing history come back around and repeat itself. Why is it that we live in a world where we can share everything but never share the love of our fellow humans? In this digital age we hide behind the screens in our hands and preach hate upon others because they "aren't like us". We were not all casted from the same mold, factory produced or cut from the same material. Some have been gifted and made from gold while others are a tattered cloth. Never have we been made all equal whether it be physically or mentally and it's truly a terrifying and wonderful thing. Being different doesn't make our worth any less nor any more than another.
As of recently our differences in beliefs, race, sexuality and power have driven a wedge between the bonds we share. Things were never perfect in the past but it's horrifying to see how crude people can become over the fact that we are not all the same carbon copied piece of stone.
I'm deeply saddened to live in this day in age where we can be so far ahead in things like medicine and technology but so distant in morals. We can not be perfect because no such thing exists with out the genocide of our differences.
The very things that make us human are pushing us farther and farther away from our humanity.
Maybe someday things will be different but history always comes back around, so we better buckle in because it's not going to be drizzle... it's going to be a storm.

I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."
