My initial reaction when meeting Lily was quite... typical.

Lily was cute.

Her wavy curls and dress that hugged her body was definitely attractive.

Her dress was a little too short for my preference, hence the moment we saw each other, I gave her my sweater and placed it on her thighs so no creep would look her down.

She smiled at that, and I was glad.

She was rather small, maybe four feet nine? I was six foot, so our height difference was strange, but I felt like we would fit.

We started off with generic questions and then we delved into the more personal, relationship type of question.

"You've recently got dumped?!" Yes. Yes. I did.

I cringed when she said that, but smiled despite it all, "Yeah, she said she liked someone else."

"But you're so..." She blushed. "...handsome."

Cute.

"Thanks, but it gave me a chance to meet you. So I think I got lucky."

She blushed and I smiled.

We were hitting it off really well and I think I liked her a bit.

"How about your relationships?"

She sighed, "my ex-boyfriend disappeared without a trace and suddenly came back into my life acting like he doesn't know me."

Somehow, I had a bad feeling about this one.

"Oh, that seems...rough." I didn't exactly know what was comforting to say.

"Right? He's an asshole, but I want a fresh start and find someone who will love me for me."

"I see, well I am in service if you need it." I winked and she laughed at my humour.

"Funny."

"I do try."

"I need to go to the washroom for a second, though."

"Please do."

She smiled, tripped on her chair. She pulled her hair behind her ears, blushed and quickly ran to the washroom.

She was clumsy cute.

As I spaced out, I unconsciously listened in to the conversation from the people behind me.

"Emi, you're pretty cute and funny." The voice was pretty low and I was wondering if he could be a singer.

She smiled, "thanks."

"Ah, I have to go to the washroom, wait for me, Emi."

"Yeah, I will." The female voice, most probably, Emi spoke. She had a nice voice, I wonder if I could take a peek at what she looks like.

When the man left, she quickly dialed her phone and started to speak while I was debating whether or not to zone her out and be a gentlemen.

"Eva!"

Eva? Was it the Eva I knew?

"The guy you set me up with super hot! I think I'm interested in him. Will I finally find a guy that won't dump me? Honestly, my heart break is seriously on another level. I felt the reason why I kept getting dumped was because I'm super freakin' average. Yes, the last boy dumped me because he found another girl he loved. Apparently, I wasn't interesting enough."
