Unraveling Valentina♦️The Originals [1]

Chapter 2

Eve set up the fire for the night, Hayley watched her with interest waiting for the right moment to ask her about the names in the leather book.

Eve tossed another piece of wood into the growing fire, "I'm sure you got questions."

"Only a thousand of them" Hayley did not hesitate to answer, "like who are you? Why are you following me? Where the hell is everyone? And if the people in this book really are my family, what happened to them?", she looked expectantly at the blonde haired woman hoping that she had the answers she was looking for.

Valentina crept up behind the bushes, allowing her to catch a glimpse of the pair. She was quickly annoyed by her questions, the alpha did not think that the pregnant girl belonged there. Andrea, who apparently went by Hayley, had no spot in her pack. The wolf turned around and walked towards the thick trees getting lost in the dark leaves.

"C'mon Valentina, the wolfs haven't had a good party in a while", Eve was looking into Valentina's green eyes begging for her to allow the pack to go to the plantation where Hayley was hosting a party for them. Josh kept his distance, afraid of the furry creature.

The wolf shook her head yet again causing Eve
to let out a sigh, "Fine, I'll go tell Josh we can't go", Eve stood and walked towards the young vampire.

Valentina then thought about her pack, they deserve to be carefree for a few hours. In the mean time, Valentina could find out more about Hayley's intensions. The white wolf let out a small bark, gaining Eve's attention. Eve turned around and saw the wolf shaking her head yes, a small smile formed around the blonde's face.

"Tell Hayley we'll be there."

The full moon rose and Valentina felt her bones crack back into her human form. Her white fur was long gone and her tan skin replaced the thick coat. She ran her fingers through her tangled hair trying to tame it. The green eyed girl walked towards the clothes Hayley set up for them. A pair of ripped shorts caught her attention, and she quickly grabbed them along with a short black top to go with it.

Music was playing, everyone was dancing and having a good time. The female alpha had not made herself known, instead she stuck to the shadows blending in. She stood near a hidden tree admiring how her people could move on from the tragedies they've been through. Valentina touched her necklace, where she kept Zach's wedding ring and her own. Her eyes swelled up with tears, remembering that she was alone. She took a shaky breath before wiping a stray tear that left her eye, her eyes hardened up and she stood straight. Emotions are the reason why many people died, and they were  burden to deal with, they had to be controlled, not expressed.

Oliver was dancing with Rebekah spinning her around, "Tonight is not a night for burdens, it's time to celebrate." he wanted to spend time with the beautiful blonde before being turning back into a wolf. "It's to hug our friends, our family, and to dance our asses off",  Rebekah let out a joyous laugh at Oliver and kept dancing with him. 

The alpha saw Oliver dancing with one of the originals. The alpha narrowed her eyes, not liking the fact that she was within her pack. Making a rash decision she walked out into the opening, and the music stopped. One by one, each wolf kneeled down , showing a sign of respect towards their alpha. Oliver let go of Rebekah as he kneeled down as well.

Rebekah looked at the petite girl in confusion, "Who the bloody hell are you?"

Many of the pack members eyes widened as they have never heard anyone talk to their alpha with disrespect. Valentina looked at the female original and walked towards her. The amount of power she walked with gave her some sense of superiority not even Klaus had. Rebekah narrowed her eyes, not liking the fact that she felt inferior to a wolf.

"I'm the alpha, who the fuck are you?" Valentina growled.

Rebekah did not bother to hide her surprise at her statement. That petite girl had all the power over the pack, and terrible manners, "I'm an original darling."

Valentina smirked at the original, "Well darling, I'm going to need you to leave," she took a step closer, "this is no place for a vile creature like you. I do not want you within five hundred feet of my pack, you got that?"

Oliver knew Valentina did not tolerate any vampires, and was actually afraid of Rebekah' well being. The alpha was known to be cruel towards every vampire, and many were afraid she would one day be killed when confronting one. "Hey Val," the green-eyed girl looked at him, "can you please just let it go? We were just dancing and having a good time. It's only for this full moon, I promise." he desperately looked at her, knowing that she would most likely say no in a heart beat.

Valentina clenched her jaw and gave him a hard stare, "I'm willing to be lenient this one time, but if any of you break my rules again, there will be consequences. Do all of you understand?" she saw a few heads nod and other's silently agreed. "Now, turn up the damn music and get me a beer."

The music was on full blast and a man handed Valentina a beer. Rebekah just stared at the young woman in amazement, she had never encountered a female alpha. Especially one who threatened an original, knowing that there was a possibility she would be killed.

Valentina stood near the fire, her eyes reflecting the orange embers of light. She looked around, and noticed Jackson was no where in sight. The young woman, used her wolf enhanced abilities to find his scent. It led to the plantation house, she walked towards the living room, knowing that there is where the scent led.

"I know it's a lot to take in", Jackson looked at Hayley, he wasn't sure if he should tell her about Valentina. She already looked overwhelmed with all of the new information she learned about her family.

"You think? I just wanted to meet my family, I never imagined I'd meet my husband from some weird-ass arranged marriage." she leaned against  the wall and looked at him.

"I guess you don't know about any of this because there was never anyone around to teach you."

"Which is why I think you don't belong here Hayley",  a new voice interrupted the silence. Valentina stood there, walking towards Jackson.

Hayley looked at the girl and when their eyes met, "I've seen you before haven't I?", Hayley waked towards Valentina, "You're the white wolf aren't you?"

Valentina stood straight, "Yes, I am."

The pregnant girl's eyes widened , "Who are you? Why are you here?"

Jackson noticed the annoyed stare Valentina gave Hayley, he stood up from his seat, "V, please don't-"

Valentina gave him a pointed stare, and he looked down, submitting to his alpha. She turned around and looked at Hayley, "You wanna know who I am?" she raised an eyebrow, "I'm Valentina Labonair, your big sister."
