"Babe! Come here! Shall we go to Paris for our 1st anniversary? Or to California?" My husband shouted from the living room, making me rush out of the study to see what was going on. "Surprise me." I whispered into his ears before returning to the study in hopes of getting my work done as soon as possible.
"Babe! What the heck are you doing that is more important than spending time with me!!" Yuuji turned my chair around which took me by surprise and taking a peep at my work. "Teru... I got an important client this week, so I have to do up a proposal ASAP (As soon as possible) so that I still have time to make amendments." I sighed, slouching back in fatigue and stared up to admire him while he inspected my work. "Hmmm... It's a little lengthy and it lacks important points." He suggested ways to improve and compliments me for whatever that was done right.
Soon, I finally completed the proposal with the help of my husband as I rewarded him with a loving and sweet make out session. "Teru! You're amazing! I love you so so much!" I sighed, snuggling into his embrace as we layed on the bed to have some quality time like every other day. "So who's this big shot that made my wife ignore me?" He pouted, smoothing my hair out as he took a few strands of my hair to curl it around his fingers. "Tsukishima Kei. He's the next successor for a freaking huge company. Apparently he was a middle blocker from Karasuno. Number 11." I said carefully, knowing that Yuuji once lost to Karasuno, but instead of getting upset like he would have in the past, he laughed and ruffled my hair. "That guy has a soft heart. Don't you worry! Besides, if he dares to bully you or put you in a hard spot, I'll make sure he loses bad." He warned and gave me a motivational kiss before letting me sleep in his embrace.
The day was finally here, I had prepared all my things and Yuuji decided to drive me to work since I had many things to carry but before I entered the building, he sneaked a kiss on my lips. "I love you, (Name)! That's my girl!" "I love you more Terushima! Thank you for everything!" We smiled at each other for a good 1 minute before he pushed me towards the building where I would meet the hard to please big boss. 'I shall make you proud, Terushima!' I self motivated and proceeded to deliver my presentation. Let's say, Tsukishima was stunned without words and proceeded to leave an email for Yuuji.
'Your wife did well. I'm speechless, literally.'
"Hah! I knew she would! THAT'S MY GIRL!" Yuuji shouted, not caring about the attention he got from his colleagues.
