We made our way from the airport to out new home. It was a convenient distance away from the mall and a few other places.

We got to the drive and paid the cab driver.

"Thank you, sir."

My mom gave him the money and he drove off.

"Let's go get settled in, sweetie. I think you're going to love it here."

I smiled at her. "I already do."

We walked in the house and it was amazingly beautiful. It was already furnished with new carpet, appliances, and a few nice pieces of furniture.

"I'm gonna go choose a room." I walked up stairs.

This was nice. A two story house? I've always wanted one. How cliche of me, right?

The first door I came to I open up and already loved it. It only had a brand new bed in it, but it had a beautiful window seat, a big closet, and a gorgeous view.

I sat all of my luggage down and began to unpack.

I went ahead and put all f my clothes on hangers and in drawers. I needed to get a new desk, a mirror, and some other bedroom supplies. I left most of my room in America.

I walk downstairs and hear talking.

"Mom, who are you talking to?"

I take another step and see a woman and three boys sitting on the sofa with my mom.

"Come, dear. These are our neighbors, the Brooks."

The woman stood up and smiled, putting her hand out to shake.

"You must be the lovely Cayden?"

I smiled. "That's me."

I noticed that two of the boys were twins. That's so cool.

One boy stood up and smiled also, he wasn't one of the twins.

"I'm Beau. Nice to meet you."

I felt myself blush then noticed the other two start to stand up.

"I'm Luke an this is Jai. He doesn't talk much, but when he does e doesn't stop." He chuckled and Jai punched him in the arm.

I smiled and put out my hand.

"I'm Cayden."

"They live right next door, you should get along well with them, dear." My mom butted in.

"Great. Well, I need to go get some stuff for my room."

"Your car isn't here yet, dear. How will you get everything?"

"She could drive my car, I don't mind." Mrs. Brooks gave me a smile.

"Are you sure?" I looked at her curiously.

"Of course, dear! You seem like a trusting, young gal."

"I don't know what to say, thank you!"

"Boys, would you like to go? I'm sure she will be help carrying things."

Jai looked up and shrugged his shoulders then got up. Like and Beau followed.

Mrs. Brooks handed me the keys and the boys and I walked out the door.

"You guys don't talk much." I looked at the two in the backseat. Beau took shot gun while Luke and Jai rode in the back.

None of them said a word until we got to the store. I decided to stop by Lowes to find a desk vanity and a big mirror.

"Why are we here?" Jai asked.

"I have to get a new desk and mirror for my room, although I doubt they will fit in the car so I'll have to order them."

"Put it on top.." Beau chuckled at what he said.

"That's what she said." Luke butted in.

These neighbors were definitely going to be some fun.

I it's went ahead and got the mirror but ordered the vanity because it wouldn't fit in the car.

We stopped by a small coffee shop and then went home.

"Here's your mom's keys. Tell her I said thanks?" I gave Luke the keys and smiled.

He smiled back a nodded. "Sure."

As I was walking inside I heard him say something.

"What?" I looked back.

"Oh, it was nice to meet you today." He smiled and walked to his house.

I felt myself get red in the face.

Calm down, Cayden. It's just a boy.
