Chapter 7: Fury

Cadence

  Cadence stepped into Eve's room right after Ash and Jack left, quietly walking inside the dark room. It was chilly in the room, as if Eve's spirit was warning her not to do this is, to say that what she was doing was morally wrong. She crept closer to her bed and stood just inches away from the life support that was sustaining this delicate girl. Cadence wasn't in control of her actions. Her heart nagged at her to do it, but her mind begged her to think.

  'Cade, you know this isn't right. This is selfish. Please think about what you're doing!' Brain urged.

  'This is the only way for you to get your one true love isn't it? Besides, you'd end the poor girl's suffering. Killing two birds with one stone eh?' Heart crooned.

  Cadence trembled and started crying again, but still raised her hand to the button that would cut Eve out from Ash's life.

  'I know it isn't right. I know but...' She thought drearily.

  "I'd at least end your suffering." Cadence whispered and felt the smoothness of the red button as she was about to press it.

  "May God bless you Eve."
