"It's hard, but it's supposed to help us, right? I--the best we can do is keep them in our memory until we're out. There's nothing left to do." Jaden advised, trying to comfort me. I nodded in return. I turned my head to the left, towards my window. It was just like our juvy- all the same. The farther and farther we drove, nothing changed. It was all just fields of wheat.

Finally, the car pulls up to the airport. Once we got out of the car, several escorts escorted us into the airport. They sat us down on two metal benches and handed us safety pamphlets, but I was only going to look at the pictures, and I'll be surprised if Jaden even picks one up. The guards stand in front of us, only about 10 feet away. My eyes began wandering, looking at all the plain walls, just like Cell 376. It's all the same. People are in the airport for days at a time, sometimes, and we are in jail for months. Why do they think adding a bit of colour will make you crazy? Honestly, only seeing grey and white will make me even more crazy.

"Hey, uhm, Officer? You think I could go to the washroom?" I ask the man closest to me nonchalantly. He nods and starts walking. I follow him. It's been about 5 minutes and we still aren't even close. After about 10 minutes of walking, he finally says "We're here." I head straight in. Man, did I have to pee.

I sat back down onto the metal bench beside Jaden. "Those bathrooms are so dang far." I laughed, bending my neck back so my head hit the wall, showing my adam's apple.

"So, uh," I began as I leaned towards Jaden, "Do you think we will be in the same Cell?" I pause. "I really hope so, buddy. It would be like total hell without you." Jaden took a deep breath and turned towards me, "Nah, not in the first place we won't be, but we will figure something out." I smiled. "You mean beg, or just make up a plain lie?" I put my hand out for a fist bump, and Jade gave me one as he said, "You know it, buddy." I scooched back more over to my bench, cause I don't know what those guards would do if even half a cheek was on his bench.

"Up." One of the guards huffed. Jaden and I got up, following the mans order. We were escorted out of the airport and to a small, private plane. It was a pearly white on the outside, but on the inside, it was gray and black. The seats were a black faux leather, and then pull out tables and window lining was a light gray. It was nice, to say the least. It'll be the nicest place I'll be for the next 2 years, that is.

The guards sat at the very front of the plane and very back, we were placed somewhere in between. If we really wanted, we could have went to our own seats, but clearly we didn't. We didn't know how long it'll be til we are in the same cell again. Shortly after we were all seated, the plane took off.

-

After hours of sitting on a plane, staring out the windows, and long conversations with Jaden, the plane began to dive down onto the ground. As we hit the ground, the guards stood up to lead us out. Upon our exit, they lead us to a car that look pretty much the same as the one we arrived in.

We were only in the car for a matter of minutes, hardly anything to see on are way there. We stepped out of the car, and as soon as we did, our hands got cuffed together.

I hope you enjoyed chapter 2 :)
