The first thing I do to get my horse ready is take his halter and lead rope then go in his stall and put on the halter. After that I walk him to the prep wall. Then I brush him off good. After that we put on his boots (these support their ankles). Next I put on his pad (this goes under the saddle), then I put on the saddle. Finally I put on the bridle and rains.
