Rescue Squad Sideswipe

Sideswipe, Strongarm, Bumblebee and Grimlock were watching the TV. They were watching a news report on a fire that just broke out in the city. "Oh, that's a shame." Strongarm said, sitting on the floor. "Yeah. Uh, Heatwave? Shouldn't you be over there to help?" Bee asked the visiting Rescue Bot. "Nah. I'm sure they can handle it. I'm off duty after all." Heatwave replied with a smile. "I was a firefighter once." Sideswipe said, smirking and feeling a tale coming on. "What?" Bee said in surprise. "Yeah." Sideswipe replied crossing his arms. "For real?" Strongarm said interested. "You don't look like one!" "But I was, just for a while!" Sideswipe said. "Yeah right!" Bee said leaning back against a car! "Tell us about one of the times!" Grimlock said excited.

Some point in the past...

A fire had started at the Iacon Science and Tech Academy, many mechs were running around panicking. "FIRE! SOMEONE CALL RESCUE SQUAD SIDESWIPE!" One mech said. At the fire department, a red and black painted Sideswipe was topping up on Energon when the alarm went off. "ALL UNITS! ALL UNITS PLEASE RESPOND! FIRE IN PROGRESS AT THE IACON SIENCE AND TECH ACADEMY!" The commander stated. "SIDESWIPE ON IT!" Sideswipe saluted as his wings adjusted themselves. Sideswipe sprung out a hose and it sucked up water from a nearby fountain (that was actually inside the building) And transformed ready for action. On the way, he was joined by Ratchet and Strongarm and they raced to the fire. A huge crowd had gathered near the academy, worried if there was going to be an explosion. People standing around included Drift, Fracture and Glacius. Sideswipe and his team arrived hearing cheers from them. "I'm on it! Windblade: air support, Strongarm: check for survivors, Ratchet: stay here!" Sideswipe ordered. "YES SIR!" Windblade, Strongarm and Ratchet said. Sideswipe got his hose out and shot out water at every window. The fire was only spreading on the front. Strongarm leaped through one of the windows on the side to look around.

Cut to the present...

"WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! Sideswipe, you can't be serious!" Bumblebee sneered.

"Uh, Bee, hate to mention this, but you were there too!" Sideswipe said.

Back to past...

"AHH! HELP ME, I'M TRAPPED!" Bee yelled from a window on the top floor! He was unable to transform due to his wings getting bent and he was very weak from the fire.

"REMAIN CALM!" Sideswipe yelled and shot water at the former scout to calm him down. Bumblebee was suddenly tackled out the window by Strongarm just as the top floor of the building exploded. Strongarm landed on her feet and tossed the burnt and wet former scout to Ratchet, who had transformed. "HURRY TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL STAT, HE'S INJURED AND SEVERLY BURNT!" Strongarm demanded. "ON IT!" Ratchet said and raced away, leaving Sideswipe and Strongarm to deal with the cheering crowd. At the hospital, a drone was pushing Bumblebee on a rolling bed to the operation room. He was pushing rather fast and Bumblebee, lying on his chest, was forced face-first into each door they went through. He groaned after each impact. "SMACK! "OW" BAM! "OOF" SLAM "UNGH" WHAM "NGH" BOOM "OW" POW "ARG" SLAM "NO" BOOM "MORE!" complained Bumblebee. They finally slammed through the last door where a few femme helpers of the doctor were already there! Bumblebee was now slightly dazed. Suddenly, a white and black painted Sideswipe and Windblade entered calmly. "Yo, girls. What's up?" Sideswipe said. The femmes looked similar to Arcee and Glowstrike (a less ugly one). Bumblebee was shocked. "Sideswipe, you're a medic too?" Bumblebee asked slightly sitting up. "Yep, I got my MD, PHD, STP and my GTO!" Sideswipe said as another femme that had on her chest "GTO" came up beside Sideswipe. "Hey, doctor!" the femme said. The same drone that brought Bumblebee in ran over to the room doors and shut them so no one could see what happened next. From outside the room, you could hear electricity and then Sideswipe saying "CLEAR"! And finally, a scream from Bumblebee as he is electrified.

Back to present...

"So what happened?" Bumblebee asked. At this point, everyone had closed in on the two bots, listening very closely. "I saved your life!" Sideswipe said. "What? No you didn't!" Bumblebee protested. "Did too!" "Did not!" "Did too!" "DID NOT!" "DID TOO!" "OPTIMUS!" Bee yelled. "Huh?" Optimus answered. "You were there in the flashback! So... what happened?" Bee asked as everyone turned to Optimus. Just as Optimus was about to answer, Sideswipe received a call. "Sideswipe, we need extra assistance, the military base is on fire!" the same commander from long ago stated. "On my way!" Sideswipe said jumping up from the box he was sitting on. But before he transformed, he turned to Bee. "Did too!" Sideswipe said and transformed to leave. Everyone was surprised and they all turned to Bumblee who's mouth was wide open and his wings dropped. He and the others turned to Optimus who was smirking at Bee. Just then, Optimus received a call by a femme. "Hey GTO!" Optimus said making Bumblebee nearly faint. "Hey Prime!" The GTO femme said over the link. "Ready for our date?" "You bet, I'll be there soon!" Optimus said. Optimus also proceeded to leave the group but looked at the shocked former scout first. "It's true!" Optimus said before transforming and driving off himself. Once he left, Bumblebee, completely shocked, fainted on the spot.
