The Talent Show

Chapter-1

Kylie's pov:
I walk into school and go to the flyer board to see if there are any new clubs to join. A bright pink flyer catches my eye. I take it down and read it, it was for a talent show the school was holding for the whole town! I texted Jayden- Hey great news there is a talent show for the school I'll get us both flyers!-  I saw she read it and put my phone away then I walked to the front desk. I got two flyers and went to my locker. I found Jayden at her locker right next to mine. Then I handed Jayden the paper. K- this is for the talent show!- J- thank hey how about we do a dance together!- K- of course YAYYY!!- Then I grabbed my text books, spirals, papers, lunch, pencil bag, phone, and folders into my backpack. Then I slowly trudged to math class. After what seemed like a decade of division and multiplication we got an outside break because it was a nice spring, breezy day. Jayden and I sat down on a bench and searched up songs on our phone for our talent day dance. I suggested The Real Sim Shady or Sober. Jayden said All About That Base or Poker Face. K- hey want to come over after school and we can listen to each other's songs?- J- ya- K- wait after gymnastics! J- ya lol-  After the break we went to lunch. You could pick a taco or a burger. I picked a taco that had meat, cheese, and sour cream. Also we got a side of apples and grape juice. I wanted to have a peaceful lunch with Jayden so we went to my club room. I ran a dance club and I could reserve the room whenever I wanted to, so I put a sign on the door saying 'reserved'. Then we ate and started to make up a dance. We made up the first part and it went like- cart wheel, back tuck, turn, jump into front roll, bridge up, walk over, handstand turn, and back roll. It had said on the flyer if we were doing gymnastics we had to wear a leo and gym shorts. We could also enter up to two things so Jayden and I entered a bar routine. The bars were going to be next to each other so we could go at the same time. Then after we headed to science class. We did a volcano experiment. There were 6 groups of 2 people and of course I was with Jayden! We went into my club room to build a volcano. We used bake clay, card board, paint, and a cup. We molded the clay into a volcano shape and put it into an oven to bake, then we painted the card board green and added grass effects, next we glued the volcano onto the cardboard and painted the top with red so it looked like lava, last we glued a cup inside to hold what will make it erupt! Then we got a bottle of alcohol (that you put on a cut) and poured it into a cup, the we put some clear dish soap in a cup. We brought the volcano back to science with the other ingredients. After everyone was done we were going to see who made the best explosion. We were up first we poured the alcohol in the volcano up and then added the dish soap and it exploded! It was really soapy and odd but kind of pretty!
