I dreamed that I was walking alone in the forest, and I had nothing with me. I would have been scared, but this was only a dream. I continued walking, even though I had no idea what I was walking towards. I stopped and looked at what I had found. It was like the portal in the forest, but black. I could see a world through the portal, and it looked amazing. A lot better than where I was. But something felt sinister about this portal. I reminded myself that it was only a dream, so I walked straight through the portal. The world was as wonderful as it had looked in the forest, but now I was armed with a sword.
I felt like I was going to have a bad time.
I swung my sword at the air, cutting through it like butter. I was confused, until the world collapsed around me, and I could see only black. Then I heard a scream. Dropping the sword, I ran to see where it had come from, but I wasn't seeming to get any closer. Then a light flicked on, and I could see why. I was on a sort of carpet, except it was going in a loop, so I wasn't going anywhere. I tried to step off of the carpet, but it moved with me. I was getting extremely frustrated, but I tried to stay calm. I knew that it was only a dream, and I would'nt be stuck on this weird carpet when I woke up. just as an experiment, I tried to walk backwards. The carpet rolled forwards. I tried running backwards, and I fell down. The carpet was too slow, and I rolled off onto the floor.
I got up, looking around. The room that I had landed in was odd. It had no furniture or decorations whatsoever. I wanted to wake up from this dream, but I did'nt have any way to. I tried to exit the room instead. I felt along the walls, seeing if there were any secret doors that I could open.
I didn't find anything.
Either way, I was just going to have to wait the night out. So I started looking for ways to entertain myself. The one light was some sort of bright orb, and I had no way of reaching it. I saw no other things in the room, until I looked closer at the floor under the light, and realized that It was really a trapdoor. I pushed on the door. It did nothing. I knocked. Nothing. I knew it was stupid, but I glared at the door. I then shook my head, and gave the door a little pat. What happened next was so weird that I knew that it could only happen in a dream.
The door opened.
It flipped open, and revealed a tunnel. Figuring that I had nothing to lose, I lowered myself down into the hole. I touched down, and the floor cracked open. I fell down...down...down...
