Grillby's adopted daughter (sans x reader)

(Your moms pov)
I knew I couldn't take care of (y/n) because I was about to die so I bundled up and put them in a basket with a blanket and note tucked in their basket next to them, I walked to grillby's knowing he'll take care of them. When I get there I put them down by the back door to the restaurant and knocked on it then ran off into the woods near Grillby's and far away I collapsed and everything went black and I knew right then that I was dead.
(Grillby's pov)
It was a normal day in snowdin and I was in the back making a burger when I heard a knock on the back door of my restaurant I open the door to see an infant with a note tucked in the side of the blanket in the basket, I quickly but gently picked up the basket and walked inside to set the child down. They seem to like heat and warmth, I grabbed the note and it said,
Dear Grillby,
                        I need you to take care of my child because I cannot they are 1 year old and their name is (y/n) she is half human half wolf (neko) they have the soul of sacrifice and I want you to keep them safe. So please take care of them.

                                       (Mom's name)
I'm taken back by what this says but tuck it away in my vest pocket I kiss their forehead and whisper "I'll protect you and 10 more minutes then we'll go home" I walk off and continue what I was doing
(Le time skip)
After work I went in the back and got (y/n) I walked home with them in my arms keeping them warm, when we got home I put them in a crib I had and fed them and changed their diaper then I went to bed thinking ' in the morning I'll ask Gaster to babysit and tell him he can bring his son sans who's the same age as (y/n) but older by a few months)
