Your Pov
You sighed as you skated on top of the thin ice and ignored the people who passed by. Though they were far away, you knew what they would say about you. It's either 'she's weird' or 'she's absolutely crazy'. There has been more harsh words but you don't even want to be reminded of it.
You've been living in Russia for about five years, and many people had already known you as a weird person. This is the third time you had to move for your own sake. No matter what, it's like you have been cursed to keep on moving. Everywhere you go, people would just start spilling insults towards you. Why don't they understand that you were just trying to fit in?Making a swift jump, you heard a crack as you landed. That obviously wasn't a good sign. Was the ice breaking already? Being the curious person you are, you skated over to where you heard the crack. You slowed to a stop as you noticed the crack in the ice. There was a scarf underneath the ice. What a rare sight to see. It's not like anybody would have drowned under here or anything.
Suddenly, the ice started to crack more, making you more alert. You looked around to see if anybody was around, and there wasn't a single person in sight. That was absolutely great. Quickly getting up, you were about to skate off the ice, but as soon as you were about to, your foot smashed down the ice and into the cold water. You didn't know what to do as you fell over and crashed through the ice. You tried to move your feet to swim up to the surface but your skates had weight you down. It was tiring you out and you felt like you were running out of air.How deep was this lake anyways? Was your life going to end already? You then felt something under you. It didn't feel like the ground at all, but it was a bit softer than expected. Your eyes widened as you felt something wrap around your waist. You gasp in some water as you struggled to get out. What was happening? How did you even get stuck?
Your vision had started to blur and you slowly stopped struggling. Then, it felt like you were floating. You were going up closer to the surface. Before you can even see what happened, you had blacked out.??? Pov
My mind was blank. I couldn't see anything in particular but black surrounding me. I couldn't even see my own hands. Why couldn't I see anything? Am I dead? I can't be, right? All of the sudden, I couldn't breathe. What's happening? There was light from afar. Was I finally going to see?
My eyes snapped open as I choked in some water. I was under water?! I went to wrap my arms around my body, but instead my arms had wrapped around something else. My eyes widened as I saw it was a person struggling to get out of my grip. I had to help this person immediately. As I saw the person slowly stop struggling, I panicked and tried to swim up. Using most of my strength, I swam up to the surface and coughed out some water. I then noticed that the person I saved was a girl. A beautiful girl in fact- she wasn't breathing! I quickly layed her down on the ground and panicked. What am I supposed to do?!Suddenly, the girl had coughed. Water had spilled out of her mouth as she had coughed, making me back up a bit. As I saw her open her eyes, I sighed in relief and smiled. She was still alive. That was good. Now I need to try to speak to her. "H-Hello there..."
Your Pov
You slowly opened your eyes to see the cloudy sky. You were alive? Well now that was just a bit worse than you expected, but it was better than dying, for now. "H-Hello there..." A voice had said next to you. You turned your head to the side to see a man. His clothes were wet as well as yours. Did he save your life? He had blond hair and odd violet eyes. That was a rare sight to see. Well, not the blond hair, but those violet eyes. They were quite mesmerizing in fact.
You didn't notice, but you were staring at him for awhile, making him speak up again, a bit more nervously. "A-Are you alright miss?" He asked with a look of worry. No one has ever given you that look, but you didn't care. "Yes, I'm fine." You said simply before getting up, but quickly fell back down. You noticed you were still wearing your skates. They were just too heavy. You quickly undid the laces and shoved the skates off your feet before getting up, your feet contacting the cold snow. Your socks didn't help very much, but now you just needed to find your boots.
