Candice is just another girl from the DMV. She has a hard time saying no to anyone so she always found herself doing stuff for other people and never for her. Once her family showed her that they don't really care for her as much as they do themselves she realized that it was time for her to put herself first and to keep her distance from everyone. Everyone except her big brother Marcus who would do anything for her they were each others bestfriends. When ever one needed something the other was always there. Although they are like bestfriends Candice felt like she couldn't tell him anything when it came to her love life or her feelings towards anybody. Marcus was the type of person that do not care about what anybody has to say or how they feel as long as he got what he wanted or what made him happy everything was perfect with him.
Now Candice, Marcus and their single mother has never had it easy. Her whole life they has been going from house to house living with different family members. Never had a place to call their own Candice not liking the situation she loved how the family was always somewhat close. Although she loved being with her family anytime she had the chance to get away from them she took advantage. Candice didn't have much friends but the ones she did have she always have tried to keep close. Marcus is well known and because of this Candice had clout too. With Candice having a brother like Marcus most boys were scared to make Candice more than just a friend.
She's a girl with a big heart. This is one of many things that she hates about herself. Candice may seem mean and cold hearted once you get to really know her she is nothing like that but Candice trys not to let people get to know her because they always show her why she is better off alone. There's only one person that knows EVERYTHING about her. Her bestfriend since sixth grade. Bryan was more like family to her and even though they fight a lot and have count less ups&downs Bryan is somebody that will always have a special place in her heart somebody that's irreplaceable to her. Bryan has always been there for her just like she has always been there for him. The two get very jealous & over protective when it comes to each other. They would both be desperate with the other.
Candice's love life has never really went as planned. The main reason being Marcus and Bryan. They never allowed her to have a real relationship or even be happy or some what satisfied when it came to her relationships. There was one person they did leave Candice alone about. Matthew she was happy with him & still has love for him but when he moved away things changed & she realized that long distance relationships was not for them. Candice and Bryan once had something but thought it would be best if they just stayed friends. The two both still have feelings for each other but don't want to say anything to mess up their friendship. They sometimes still act as if they going out which makes people think that they are.
Candice has a few female friends that has all been around since sixth grade. Latoya was her girl bestfriend her parents died in a car accident when she was only seven. So she moved with her older brother which was later killed driving home on his motorcycle while it was raining. After his death she had to move with her older sister who was the mother of Imanii. Imanii had the perfect body so she has always been in relationships with straight dogs. Imanii has no idea what real love is. I guess you can say that she is a young lady who still has much learning to do. Then there is Ta'Mia which is Imanii's step sister. Ta'Mia is the youngest out of them all she is the only sophomore out of Candice's group. Ta'Mia is close to being the perfect girl she has brains beauty and body not to mention she's great with kids and cooks. She is not much of a party person nor is she a people person. Ta'Mia may be mean when you first meet her but is really nice once you get to know her. Asia is the first person Candice met when she first moved and started at the new school she was the only person Candice talked to in the first three months of school when they had just begun sixth grade. They tell each other a lot and are like twin sisters. Last but not least there is Shylamahr pronounced Shy·la·mar if there is something this girl hates its when people tend to mess up how yo say or spell her name. This is one of Candice's sisters as she would say they have a lot in common and are both scorpio's.
Candice and Marcus's father has never really been around. Thus really hurts Candice but want let know body know except for Bryan. Candice can tell that Marcus is effected by this too. She just hates how she had to grow up seeing her own father take care of somebody else's children before he can take care of his own. She just don't understand why he can take care of another mans responsibilities before he can take care of his own. Candice has much love in her heart for him. As much as she has tried to hate him she just couldn't do it. She didn't see how Marcus hates him with a passion. The whole situation just leaves her hurt and confused every time she thinks about it.
