Chapter 15..... Another day

Star

Hayley and I sat in the living room. Hayley was reading one of Elijah’s journals while I was writing in mine. “What do you write in your journals” Hayley asked me “I don't know just what ever had happened and how I feel. Though ever since I came here I haven't writing anything” I said to her.

“Well maybe you just haven't had any time” I laughed “ya, maybe” I said and thought for a second. Then I started to write.

{My feelings for Elijah still make me think that twice of my feelings for Klaus. How could I care for someone who doesn't care about anyone. Then again Elijah is the good brother but my feelings for him seem to fade at times. I am now starting to think that my feelings for Elijah is from being gone.

If so then why are they still here. I still have feelings for Klaus even after all the cruel things he has done.}

Flashback

I watched as Klaus ripped a humans head off. “So this is what you do” I asked him as he smiled and looked at me. “Star this is what every vampire does and you better be careful otherwise a vampire could come up to you and you could end up just like this human”. Klaus pointed to the dead body laying on the side of the road as I stood there not wanting to look at it. No 7 year old should see that, but I ended up seeing it a lot more than that.

End of Flashback

 I sighed and stood up “I'm going to get something to drink, do you want me to get you something” I asked Hayley. “No” Hayley said and I walked into the kitchen grabbing a drink. I leaned on the counter and smiled at myself for a saying I use to always say that came to my head.

“Close your eyes, count to 10, take the bullet out again, say my name, hit me hard, put that gun right to my heart. Bang.” I smiled to myself and took a drink of the pop that I got out of the fridge. The second it went down my throat I felt this burning in my throat, I fell to the ground as Hayley ran in. “Get Elijah” I said in a raspy voice.

Hayley walked up to me slowly with a straight face. “Hayley” I said still in a raspy voice. All of a sudden she pulled out a knife “HAYLEY” I screamed and she stabbed me.

I quickly sat up out of bed, breathing for air, I looked around and sighed with relief as I got out of bed. I got ready and went down the stairs and into the kitchen. “Good morning” Elijah said to me and Hayley walked in as I grab a drink of orange juice. “Morning” I said “good morning, Hayley” Hayley smiles “hey”. Hayley now has a stomach. Finally. She walks over to the fridge just as Rebekah walks in through the back door, dragging a trashcan behind her. Hayley looks threw the fridge while I lean on the counter.

Hayley turns to Elijah and I “listen, I know I'm the only one in this house that actually drinks milk, but would it kill any of you to make sure it's on the grocery list”? “Speaking of, add bleach” Rebekah stomps through the kitchen and into the living room to clean up what I was guessing was a mess. Elijah digs through the cupboard as Hayley pulls ice cream out of the freezer.

“You know, I do hope my siblings were hospitable to you, in my absence” Elijah said “don't worry we were sweet to her”. I put an arm around her neck holding my drink in my hand. “In your absence, as you like to call it, which is a way-too-polite way of saying that your brother put a dagger in your heart. I have been attacked by French Quarter vampires, I've had to live in a house with a secret dungeon full of coffins, and I was nearly murdered by witches who are convinced my baby is Lucifer”.

Elijah bringing a bowl, a spoon, and a bag of cereal to the counter as Hayley looks up at him. Elijah smiles sympathetically as he pulls milk out of the fridge, pours Hayley a bowl of cereal, and then fills it with milk and I put the orange juice in front of her. Hayley looks at the milk “or...milk. They've been fine, your siblings are weirdly protective, I know I have you to thank for that”.

“I'm just happy to see that you're in one piece” Elijah says and smiles as I poll my arm away and roll my eyes. “So, back to the murderous witches I have some concerns” Elijah hands Hayley the bowl of cereal. “They're evil and my life is still magically linked to Sophie Devereaux, which is not comforting” “try it with a black, freak of a vampire” I say taking a sip of my drink.

“Yes, I think it's time we took care of that little problem” Elijah says looking at Hayley “I agree”. Rebekah walks in dragging the dead girl's body across the kitchen floor “I am all for it. As soon as they're unlinked, we get to leave this crap town. Who do we have to kill”. Elijah thinks for a second “probably no one” Hayley and I look at him questioningly. “Alright, potentially everyone” Elijah leaves the room leaving Hayley and I with smiles.

I got up and went back upstairs looking around my room. I sighed and grabbed my bag and put a few things in it. I grabbed my leather jacket putting it on and throwing my bag over my shoulder before walking out of the room and down the stairs. I peeked around the corner and saw Elijah and Klaus talking while Rebekah started to clean the carpet.

I took this chance and snuck out the back door leaving everyone, hoping no one heard me. I rented a car and started to head out of town. I had just passed the sign that red that I would be leaving New Orleans soon.

Elijah

Rebekah scrubs at the bloodstains in the carpet as Klaus continues to read “A Poison Tree”. “Poetry about poisoned apples from dead trees. Looks like someone's worried about impending daddy hood” Rebekah says looking up at Klous. Klaus shakes his head “nonsense, Elijah's back. In his presence, all problems turn to pixie-dust and float away”!

I walk in joining them in the living room “Strange, I don't recall any pixie-dust from the darkness of the coffin I was recently forced to endure”. I open my mothers grimoire and flip through it. “What are you doing with Mother's spell book” Rebekah asked “well, in exchange for my freedom, I promised the witch Davina that I would share a few pages from Mother's grimoire. To help her learn to control her magic. I thought we'd begin with a little unlinking spell”.

Rebekah and Klaus look at each other in confusion “wait, you want to use her to unlink Hayley from Sophie Devereaux” Rebekah asks, stunned. “Sophie brought us here under false pretenses! She doesn't just want us to take down Marcel and his minions, she wants to take Davina back. So, she yoked her own cause to ours, with magic threats and half-truths! Well, no more. As of now, our deal with Sophie Devereaux is null and void”.

Klaus and Rebekah grin “Niklaus, I need you to come with me. I need five minutes alone with Davina, you need to make certain that I am not interrupted”. I point to Rebekah and think for a moment “you stay here and watch Hayley”. “And Star” Rebekah asks “I am going to see if she would like to come”.

I walk out of the room and up the stairs to Stars room “how did I get elected supernanny” Rebekah asks? “More importantly, who put him in charge” Klaus asks fallowing me out of the room.

I walked into Star's room “Star” I asked looking around but she wasn't there. Klaus walks in as I look around “she's not here” Klaus says as I look at him “what do you mean, where is she”. “I don't know but her bags gone” Klaus points under the bed were Stars back would normally be and saw that it was gone. “She left” Klaus says almost a whisper.

Star

I sighed as my phone went off and saw that it was Elijah, I didn't answer and instead threw it on the passenger seat. It bounced off the seat and onto the ground, I reached down searching for my phone and grabbed it when I found it. I looked up seeing a guy standing in the middle of the road.

I quick swerved out of the way and flipped my car until I was right side up again and knocked out. I opened my eyes a little to see that the man was gone and saw that this was the same spot that I had flipped my car when I first came to town and Elijah saved me. My eyes closed as everything turned black again.

{Hey let me know who you think should save Star. If you let me know I'll update again. Thanks}
