No pov: Ellie was sitting, for no reason, on the edge of a street. her tim hortons cup a quater full of small bits of change, she counted what was in the partcially filled jar. $2.80. She would keep waiting out here for a little more loose change, then, she would buy some food.
Ellie had graduated from high school with both her parents sick and in hospitals, so she didnt go to a university, she just got a part time job, as well as interned.
Well she got fired from her waitress job because there was someone better for the job. She couldn't find any new jobs, and her parents couldn't give her any money. she couldn't pay her rent, and she was on the streets.
But every day, she saw a young man, about her age, maybe a bit older, walk past her every day, giving her change.
That young man's name was Seth.
SethBling's POV
That girl, she, she reminded me of someone. Someone I used to know.
I saw her sitting on the side of the sidewalk, with her little cup, minding her own buisness.
She actuallt looked quite hot, for a homeless person.
But I imagined what she got for dinner. What she did to keep warm in the winter. And today I was feeling extra-generous, so...
"Here, have something good to eat for a change." I said, handing her a 10 dollar bill. she looked at it as if she had never had a ten dollar bill before. "Thank you! Oh, how can I repay you?" she exclaimed.
I ignored her last comment. "I'm Seth." I said "Ellie. I'm Ellie." she said, smiling.
Ellie. ELLIE. ELLIE!
"Are you by any chance, Ellie peirce?'
"Ya, how did you know?"
I sat waiting in my seat, slouching down.
But as soon as Ellie walked in, I perked up. She is my world.
"Hey!" I said a little too over excited. "Uh.. Hi!" she said.
She was not what they would call a hottie. She had glasses and freckles. But she had long, auburn hair. *sigh*
"Hey! do you remeber me? Seth Hedrickson? From 7th grade?" I said hopefully. "Um... It rings a bell..." She said, getting quiter and quiter. "You don't remeber me, do you?" I said. I didn"t think she would.
"Wait... were you that kid who ALLWAYS said hi to me?" She asked. "Yes!" I said. A wave of realization came over her face.
"Hey thank you for the money. I appreciate it more than you would think." She said. "Oh no problem." I said.
I walked off to the coffee shop to get a latte, thinking about Ellie. But then I had another flashback.
"Hey Seth! Wanna try my fortune teller?" Asked my friend Jakob.
