"What happened?!" I looked at Tylar's bare body, with deep scars on his back with blood dripping down his waste. His sister Phillice was holding him by his upper arm with a blank expression, and kinda creepy. "Something attacked us, and this happened... " His younger brother Ryan who was standing beside me answered in his place. "I thought I told you guys to hang low!" I scolled at him ignoring the incident. You can't blame me, I was fustrated and slightly freaked out for obvious reasons. The injured boy looked weakened, like his soul was being dragged off a cliff by over studying for exams! At least he wasn't bitten, other wise he would have been dead. Not to mention I had feelings for him, I mean, he was pretty hot!

Ok Jai Scorpio, this is not the time, you are a zodiac now! You need to control yourself!

I shook my head to remove my thoughts. "They're coming.... " Cherley said softly looking down on her crystal. She was feeling the 'energy' around us and yes this is not wierd, this is one hundred percent normal... There were sounds coming from the ceiling. Scratch marks were all over the walls and blood stains dripping from the door handles, which if I wasn't not brave enough, I would have probably fainted by the now. It was like a fucking horror scene! But... I will survive! (Sarcasm)

The sounds became stronger but distant, it sounded like a carnivorous animal hunting it's pray. "Do you hear that? " I asked Cherely whilst looking up. "Hear wh-?" "Shhh" Ryan was cut off by Cherley for the un-teenth time. We stood there quietly following the sound that was coming even more intense. Shivers were running down my spine and by that time, I realized that this 'demon' was going to take a bite out of our friends' heads if we didn't start running. "SHIT! Run, run, run!" I dragged all three back down the hallway and Cher (short for Cherely) was behind me. I chose to use my elevation powers to drag them down the hallway through a door directly into a secured room bending the handle and locked it by twisting my fingers a into fist within seconds and quickly faced Cheryley as the sound became more intense and really really close. Then all sudden I saw the beast face to face with her with a dagger right through its chest.

She stared right at it with a blank expression, with no remorse, no fear, but only to see disgust soon afterwards as she withdrew her dagger and that thing dropped lifelessly on the floor. It looked horrid! A pale skined creature that resembles the figure of a human being but seemed like it hasn't eaten in decades.

I was kinda freaked out when I saw that, but, I chose to play it cool. "Wow.... Good job!" I congratulated her with my two thumbs up and giving her a nervious smile but she turned to face me after kicking the creature with her left foot. "Well, it's official. I have no emotions left." She smiled at me for at least a second just to pretend there was nothing wrong with what just happened. "Uh huh!" I replied with a high pitch voice as if I was holding my breath for too long. She seemed angry and annoyed by the incident. But yah why wouldn't she be? It was a fatal reminder of her past. A past that she tried to forget for so long. She didn't have to tell me. I knew what was going on up in her head.

I swear! If I kept on looking at that thing, I was going to loose my luch!

"Ok! We need to burn this place down!" She demanded that we did so. "What?!" I would agree, the sounds were getting louder by the minute. "But what about us? I won't be able to protect those pain in the ass for long". She held her crystal above her face, looking through it with one eye open for about 10 seconds.
