"Dad, I'm going out for a jog. Wanna come with me?" I slipped on my shoes as I put my beanie on my head, feeling its warmth.

"Uhh, no." He sipped his coffee as he scanned the newspaper. He was still here 'cause I didn't let him go last night. It was too dark, and too cold already. I was too worried to let him drive for a long night.

Things between mom and him we're pretty fragile. Just a single misunderstanding could result to them not talking again. That's why it's hard whenever they're inside the same room.

"Okay, I'll go get Tips now." I opened the door and suddenly felt the wind rushing through me.

Tips ran towards me with his collar on already. I patted his head then we started jogging.

A calm mind. That's all I need for now. Lucas got me there. My reaction was left hanging. I can't seem to organize my thoughts clearly.

I breathed in.

First, I need to tell this to Agnes.

Second, tell everything to Lucas.

Next step would be based on his reaction.

If knowing it won't change his feelings about me, then

third would be, accept his feelings, and admit mine, too.

If knowing it would change everything, then

third would be, admit my feelings about him then move on.

Whatever is the answer on the third one,

fourth is to finish things up with Brit.

and the fifth one, live a happy normal life like what a teenager should do.

We did our daily routine for forty-five minutes. Panting and full of sweats, we stopped at our place. I sat down lazily on the grass while Tips played around.

I pulled my beanie and opened my bag, searching for Tips' food. I tossed it away as he jumped high enough to catch it.

"Nice catch, Tips." He wagged his tails at me and I giggled.

I sat straight this time, Tips moved a few steps back, ready to jump again. I tossed the food once again as he jumped catching the food by his mouth.

Someone behind me clapped his hands.

"Good job, little boy." His blue eyes stared at me, giving me a weak smile.

Kevin squatted down so he could pat Tips' head. Tips wagged his tails at him as he tried to evade it.

I left him with mom last night, for Lucas. I didn't gave him a clear reason why, but he stood there for me, saving me from my mom.

I stood up then walked closer to him. He glanced at me as he kept on playing with Tips' ear.

"Thanks, for, uhh, last night." I mumbled, playing with my beanie on my hand.

He stood up, putting his hands on his waist as he stretched a little. "It's nothing. I just felt like I need to do something since Eli's mouth kept on mumbling why you ran away." He chuckled as he remembered the scene.

"I haven't gave you the reason, too. I left you hanging there. I'm sorry." I looked at him sincerely. Leaving someone behind was really not a nice thing to do.

"Seeing Lucas there. Seeing your worried yet relieved face was enough explanation." He looked above, his hands still on his waist.

Kevin, he can see right through me. He can easily identify what is running on my mind. I looked like too transparent when he's with me, yet, I feel comfortable. I haven't been this close to a boy before, and when I say close, I mean, I never really thought I could actually trust a guy when it comes to my personal worries. But him, he always listen, he's different. He's like Agnes in my life. He's more like of my bestfriend too.
