There were trees everywhere. I was running. From who, I did not know. All I knew was that I had to run. I heard screaming. My sister, Joanna. "Help! Please help her! Someone!" I screamed. They were coming for me next. The trees looked like they were closing on me. I turned around and there they were. Right in front of my face. It was the villagers. The same ones who accused my family of being witches. They said, "Kill the witch! She's the last one!" They killed mother. "Help!", I screamed to no one in particular. No one was going to help me. I was a witch in their eyes. They lifted an axe. "Aaahhhhh!", I screamed. But, it was too late. The axe came down.............

I woke up. That dream has been haunting me for months now. I woke up and my sister was all I saw. Dear, sweet Joanna. Joanna stared at me. Then she opened her mouth and said, "MOOOOOOMMMMMMMM! LIZA IS UP!" Totally not unexpected. Just as I complimented her, too. Even if it was only in my mind.

My mother called up, "Get down here and eat something before school!" I rolled my eyes at that comment. My mother was always about health and all of that other stuff.

----------------------------------------------------------

After breakfast, we walked to school. As always, the other children threw rocks at us. They also called us names. "Witches! Witches! Run away! Witches! Witches! Rue the day!" The more rocks they threw the more they chanted this. (And the more bruises we got.) School was no better. The teachers were even bullies. "Well, if you are going to turn in late work then you should die.", they said. Though kids turned in five days late homework that they accepted and ours were only a minute.

My sister and I were in the same class. The teachers said that we are just bastards that shouldn't even be bothered with. Our teacher, Mrs. Crambles, said "Those little wretches are not worth my superior talk. They should just be burned at the stake." The others nodded in agreement.

The entire village decided to agree, and they riled up and got my family out of our house for the burning. They snatched up mother and Joanna right before me. "Aaahhhhh!", Joanna screamed. My mother just took it quietly and told her to do this also. Joanna wouldn't take it and screamed the whole way to the stake. We didn't believe we were witches, so why would they?

My mother was the first to burn. They wanted us to suffer more. It worked for Joanna. She cried until she could cry no more. They tried to get me to cry, but I listened to mother even though Joanna was older. I was going to be brave in my last moments. At least I tried. When Joanna got up I couldn't hold back anymore. "Nooooooooooooooo!!!", I screamed. They just laughed. As if they were a demon themselves, maybe they should burn themselves. Then something evil actually did appear. A demon. Oh my god, a real demon. The demon looked normal except for his black wings and his eyes were two different colors. He was beautiful at first glance. He came up to me and said, "My sweet would you like to come with me?" I was speechless at first. But then I screamed, "Nooooooo!" Turns out the villagers couldn't see him and thought I was screaming because it was my turn next. He said, "Fine then, escape on your own." And he burned the hands of my captors making them let go.

So much for making them believe I wasn't a witch. I ran as fast as I could. Into the forbidden forest. Even though it was forbidden, the villagers followed me. "Aaahhhhhh!", my sister screamed. It was just like my dream. Instead after they lifted the axe the demon appeared and stopped time. So did an actual witch. The demon said, "I'll ask again. Would you like to come with me?" The witch said, "Don't listen to him." As she said this, I looked at her features. She was beautiful. With blue hair and blue eyes. She even had a blue outfit. The only thing that indicated she was a witch was how she swooped in on her broom.

Then she disappeared in a puff of smoke, taking me with her.........
