"Alaina get up or you'll be late!" my mom shouted from the bottom of the stairs.

We just moved to New Jersey last week; the week before school started. Now today is my first day back and I'm beyond nervous. I'm already quiet as it is so being the new kid doesn't exactly work in my favor.

Groaning, I reluctantly got myself up and made my way to my closet. I was still moving into my room because I'm a lazy peice of shit that doesn't feel like unpacking, so boxes still scattered my floor.

I went with a comfortable grey crop top and high-waisted ripped skinny jeans. After slipping on my black converse, I jogged to my bathroom down the hallway. I quickly brushed through my long, brunette hair and threw on some makeup. I ran down the stairs as quickly as I could and grabbed my bag and my penny board.

"By mom, see you later!" I yelled as I ran through the kitchen and towards the door, grabbing a waffle she had laid out on the way.

"Don't get into any trouble and try to make friends!" she yelled back as I shut the door behind me.

Before I hopped on my penny board, I pulled out my phone and earbuds. Satisfied with the song I chose, I skated my way to school, eating the waffle as I went. I made it there with just enough time to run to the office and get my schedule.

"Hi there. Can I help you?" a secretary behind the desk asked.

"Um I need my schedule. I am, uh, new here," I shyly replied.

"Can I get your full name please?" she smiled, her hands ready to type the information into her computer.

"Alaina Jade Parks"

With a few quick key strokes, she pulled up my schedule and printed it out.

"Don't be nervous, you'll do great," she assured.

I smiled in reply and walked out to find my locker.

I jogged down the hallway and found my locker. After practically throwing my board and my bag inside, I grabbed a folder with some paper in it and a pen from my bag. I couldn't be late, not on my first day.

I shut my locker door and turned to run to my first class, but smashed right into a tall, buff figure instead. Like the clumsy self I am, I fell right on my ass. I looked up and saw who I knocked into: a very tall, very hot boy standing with another very hot guy that looked almost exactly like him. Great, this school has hot twins.

"In a rush much?" he chuckled, looking down at me.

"Wow I'm such and idiot," I huffed, grabbing my folder that fell out of my hand.

"What was that?" he questioned, raising his eyebrow.

"Nothing," I mumbled, still not making eye contact.

I stood up and brushed myself off.

"Damn Ethan," the other one smirked, looking me up and down.

I gulped, already feeling nervous.

"I just need to find my first period," I squeaked, almost sounding like a little mouse.

"Oh so you're a newbie?" he questioned, stepping towards me.

I backed away each time he took a step. I don't necessarily like confrontation.

"Do I make you nervous baby girl?" he asked, still coming towards me until I backed into the wall of lockers.

"I've got to go," I muttered as I pushed pashed him and quickly walked down the hallway.

"We're gonna have fun with her Gray," I heard the one, Ethan, say.
